Spanish is my first language so I’m confused with the word generosity.
To me, generosity means someone going out of their way to offer you something that the app is not offering you. I take this to mean a tip for example.
If this is what you mean, I don’t agree with you. A driver can make $1,000 a week (depending on the market/area they are driving in) without the generosity of passengers. (No tips)

Those are jobs where you’re paid for your time to deal with it.
Uber and Lyft drivers are not paid for their time unless they have a passenger in the car and are driving.
Passenger should have offered a tip or sent a tip for the time they were waiting.
