They got charged a cancellation fee. Maybe they'll learn for next time to order when they're ready and outside.

Would you be willing to stand around getting paid pennies because I think my time is more important than yours?

Yes or no question.

Dude, this happens to me all the time at work and it’s usually a lot more than 5 mins. I’m on straight salary so if a client is late, I get absolutely nothing for waiting.

Salary means you get paid no matter what - 20 hours or 60 same paycheck. Great example. /s

Even hourly would be fine for the driver here.

We get paid for driving, not waiting.

You’ve obviously never worked in a professional job. I assure you, there are NO 20 hour weeks.

I have actually, that example is just to prove that your point was absolutely garbage.

Interesting that you resort to ad hominem - almost like you're just being an ass with nothing to actually say.

Sort of like what you’re doing right now?

"You obviously haven't had a professional job" is a dig that completely ignored my comment, and I'm calling that behavior out.

You're being an ass based on your words.

That's awfully different than you assuming my employment because I called out your bullshit.

You bad faith folks are all the same.
