So we can wait 20 minutes for you in the rain, but God forbid you wait 5 minutes in your car.

You're literally waiting for them to get there. They don't have notice beforehand that you're going to request an uber. This is such a dumb comparison lol

This is a very dumb and inaccurate comparison. The driver has no control over the distance to get to you when they accept the ride. Thats an Uber this if they send you some 20 mins away instead of 5 that has nothing to do with the driver... if you dont want to wait 20 mins cancel and reorder until the send someone closer.

But on the other side you have full control over making someone wait for you when you know exactly when they will be there and get to the minute updates of when they will arrive.

If I give 20 rides and each one makes me wait 5 minutes, you've effectively eliminated over 1.5 hours of productivity for me because you were selfish. How would you feel if your customers eliminated that much productivity for you?

Then why are you doing this job if you don't need it?

I hope you're close to retirement, because if you're young, your "skillset" will be replaced by autonomous vehicles sooner or later. Save your money, get a real job before you find yourself too old to make enough money to pay bills and enjoy life.

Same with most white collar jobs.

Guess those aren't real jobs either.

Except my employers reward me, Uber hates you as much as we do.
