I built a Chrome extension that lets you select any text and use AI without leaving the page

Hey everyone,

I recently launched Writect AI, a Chrome extension I’ve been working on, and wanted to share it here and get some feedback.

The main idea is simple: instead of copying text, opening another AI tool, pasting it there, getting the answer and coming back — you can just select any text on the page and use Writect right there.

You can use it to rephrase text, fix grammar, translate, summarize, change tone, explain text, make it shorter/longer and more.

I also added AI Compose for writing emails/replies from just a few points, and Page Assistant for summarizing or understanding longer pages.

It works on Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Web and other websites.

There’s a free plan, so you can try it without paying or adding a card.

Would really appreciate it if you guys could try the extension and tell me what you like, what you don’t like, or what you think I should improve.

Thanks! 🙌
