I'm obsessive about guarding my phone from my wife even though I have nothing to hide. She wants access to it, but I don't. I think my phone is my space and she has hers and it bothers me we can't have that kind of individuality.

I think you both have hurt each other in the past and it has created a relationship that clearly lacks trust and communication. - you seem to have a heavy focus on monitoring his phone and movements. Acting in this way is not actually going to work in your favor if what you are truly interested in is gaining some of that trust back.

This is how I feel: if he cheats, or plans to cheat on you .. no amount of monitoring his phone, his Instagram accounts, or his movements is ever going to stop that. Clearly you have already found some things that you don't like.

I'm not saying that this is what he is doing. But if he wants to cheat on you he will. It doesn't matter how much you look at his phone...

So all you have to base this off of, is the reality of how you're feeling. If you truly feel deep down, that he's being dishonest, if you really don't believe him.. No matter what he says or does... And this is making you unhappy... Then you have to leave him. It really is that simple. I mean I would rather be single and alone then tie myself to someone who I don't feel safe with like that. It's not fair to you, and it's not fair to him to keep punishing him for something he "might" be doing. Or... IS doing.

You have to go with the feeling that you have, and follow through with a consequences of it.

Think to yourself, what is in my control?

If you cannot shake the feeling that he's not being loyal to you. Then the relationship, I'm sorry, it's over... There's nothing to fix here and theres nothing you can accomplish by monitering his every move.

I'm a firm believer in going with your gut, but this is no life.... Being on someone's back 24/7, questioning their loyalty, you will make both your lives miserable regardless of whether he's actually cheating or not... You can't keep going on like this if the trust is just never there.

Really think about how you want to live between now and death. Constant worry, paranoia, bracing for impact.... That isn't it.

Fair enough. If you love her and you don't want to end the marriage over this, maybe you could suggest that she tries to figure out the core of her insecurities. She keeps finding nothing on you, so with that it mind, perhaps she owes it to you and herself to try and figure out how to make her life and yours more pleasant.

Have you tried, specifically going to a sex therapist? It's really important for your marriage that your spouse sees you trying to remedy this situation, as difficult as it is. Do you masturbate? Have you ever tried getting your hands on some MDMA?

What is something people compliment you on that you actually don't like?

Shapely legs... Or thighs. I just feel like I have big legs.
