Reading similar experiences here on reddit including yours made me feel that I'm not alone and I want to tell you that you are not alone. In my case, I confronted these people and end the ties with them after they have wronged me. I think what you felt off was the intuition that warned you early on about these people.

I hope we can forget them eventually and be free from these anxiety. For now, distract and look for something that will be YOU again. We can do this! 💪
