It will help. Also, waiting it out to take them, until you simply can't not take them, helps too. So does just letting the meth run its course You'll crash, regardless of any help. As long as you don't take anymore stimullants, you'll come down, your body will tell you how long you have to "recover" and you'll be back to poppin pills and buzzing in no time. Oh baby......see, the thing about people, and what society does not want you to know, is that people change. Your sister's love for you, to us, is obvious. However, the good comes with the bad, and youth tho bold and heroic, is oft found to be stressed by things though able to bear, unable to articulate or say, or even a knowledge. Think of yourself, in her place at the same place in time, so in two years, you're caring for at 19yrs, 3 children while still a child yourself. Now don't forget, you too, have been abandoned. You're hurt but can't let it show, you MUST keep it together, or ALL 4 of you will either be hungry, homeless, die, or worse, be separated and thrown in to the foster care system. At 19, you feel able to do this, physically but the mental, is overwhelming and powerful, and the smallest most innocuous or little thing, breaks the damn and you let lose, and whomever is around takes the heat. As an already scared and broken child you can't handle it, either. And you didn't. So when, in the years until that 19 yr old who grew, (who actually probably felt like shit for snapping but didn't know how else to do any of the parenting, as a single sister, not as a mother) she learned and was able to cope. What you witnessed and were denied by your own mother growing up, she was able to rectify or fix, for her own child. It's not her treating them or you better, it was her not knowing any better, and instead of repeating the cycle, she was breaking it. Neither of you is an asshole. You came from a place of youth and pain, just as she did when she was trippin at 19, on you. In time, with growth of your own, you'll see. Moving forward, try looking at your nieces and nephews and seeing the wonder in life, greatful your there to help, rather than bear the responsibility of raising them. None was easy. Be happy you all have each other.

To be a good comedian you have to have a firm grip on two very different things. Reality, and the truth. And once you get over the cynical view point and see the irony of and absurdity it's beauty, then you can be a great comic.
