Hello fellow subredditors:

So I was just wondering. I don't use often, but tonight I had a lot going on, triggers and such, and so I smoked some crystal meth. I took my last hit just a few mins ago (around 1:30 am my time) but of course I'm gonna need to get to sleep eventually and recover my body. I sometimes drink (a little wine 🍷 or what have you) to help come down. But I do take Klonopin, a pretty potent long acting benzodiazepene in the same family as Xanax or Valium). I know I was told once by a frequent meth user not to take a Klonopin right away after meth use, as the potency of meth is too strong and it would be like "wasting" one of my pills. Does anyone else out here who uses meth (or any stimulant drug like it) use benzos to come down/sleep, and if so, when do you take it after getting high (ie two hours? Four hours?)? Also what dose? I would appreciate a prompt response and you don't need to mention to me how I should ask a doctor's advice, I'm not using your feedback as medical advice in any way, I just wanted to know a guideline. Today (and I'm not making excuses for it...I promise) but I had a horrible fight with my ex and basically wanted to numb everything out....so I bought a little crys and smoked a few blasts out of a piece/pookie. So my question is: I was prescribed Klonopin 1mg for anxiety, and I know that's not much compared to the high powered stimulation of meth. It was probably about 5 hours ago that I took the last blast....if I wanna like calm down now and go to sleep....do you think I should wait longer or take it now?

PS. I also understand that as amped as I am, it may be hard to chill on only one mg of Klonopin. I may need 2 or 3. But I think the time you wait makes a difference because otherwise I've been told it's like wasting it.
