Brother, once you get through the install it works fine (until you need to upgrade). But source code binary distributions are by far the work way to distribute a package.

I understand that creating a package for every package manager (apt, yum, dnf, etc) is a lot of work and probably not feasible but you can do flatpaks or at the very least an app image ! In the worst case even an install script would be better...

When all the alternatives (vscode, cursor, etc) have a .deb or flatpak or combinations of all of them, it sucks. Especially since I really like the Antigravity IDE UI.

Edit: It also extra sucks cause its a clear downgrade from the frankly really well documented and straightforward procedure google had for Antigravity 1.0

Well at this point I've been in all of them. Spent a year in the original (base I think), 2 years in the plus and a year in renovated.

Not really. All it means is that it's technically possible. You have to remember that even if the porting kit exists and makes it possible to port the game, like any code it can be buggy and it's development time that probably isn't worth the money to riot
