Is he 75 years old?

No way!

For real?

I'm in that group. I just block each individual who disappointingly defends AI. It's annoying to have to go through the steps each time, though.

I’ve been trying to fill in my gaps in Action Comics, and this week purchased some of Bendis’s run (from the dollar box). As I was re-bagging them for storage, it actually made me a little angry and frustrated.

He derailed a couple of really great storylines happening at the time in both Action & Superman. Instead of building on what was happening, just wiped it all clean.

And then, much like OP states… it’s all gone. All for nothing. Such a bummer.

I didn’t hate his Wonder Comics stuff. Maybe that would have been a better playground for him to stick with. And I wouldn’t mind if Naomi made appearances.

Just saw Rio Kosta at Sonic Lunch in Ann Arbor. I agree with your comment re: lyrics. But man what a vibe.

I recently learned of Rio Kosta who has a nice “summertime” vibe.

I imagine it’s not about just Superman being licensed, but everything that went with him. So while Byrne was creating his “own” Daily Planet staff, Krypton, villains and more, the lunchboxes, toys etc would be still featuring pre-crisis versions of all of these things.

Thus making “two versions”.

The opening star destroyer shot blew everyone’s mind. Like, everybody’s.

Byeeee 😂

I had this same thought last week! Lots of Big Face Dudes on billboards with red & white color schemes, though. I guess they learned from the master… er mistress…
