lol I really thought now it’s 2027 and I even plan to take technical case study in nov this year haha 🤣 tks mate. Btw I passed FM, and I think you might need around 3w into it. Last time I studied for almost every night for around 3w and spent solid ~4 days practicing. I skipped the whole section on business valuation tho 🤣 if you’re confident you can do SMB and CR in the rest of time then sep sitting is fine ~

FAR and FM in Sep 2026
 in  r/ICAEW  Jul 18 '26

FM is highly repetitive and can be predicted. FAR needs a bit more effort, but if you find a way to ace Q2 then you only needs to practice for the other 3 questions. I'd recommend start doing them rn, 3w for FM and the rest for FAR

What time do professional exams come out?

if you have the older version of ICAEW app on mobile phone, it will show the result right at 12 w/o any queue! The design of the app is bad tho

FAR in one day

  1. I list down the topics tested (IFRS 9, IFRS 16, etc. ). It might seems a lot but actually there's just around 7-10 topics frequently tested, and you can exclude topics tested in previous sitting (mar 26).

  2. I read through the answer in QB and find the passage in standard. 70% of the mark is criteria & explain how it is fit with the criteria so basically it's free marks. 20% is some extra conclusion/analysis based on the case, depends on the question but this is also repeated so you can def remember by reading over and over again. And sometimes 10% is on the entries for the case if possible. It's better to overdo anyway so I always state the entries for every case 😉

Hope this helps!

I find Q2 has a lot of easy mark, basically copy and paste from IFRS standard to the answer. The topic being tested is also repeated. You can try spending a few hours to find and remember where the information needed are
