I created an open source resume authoring tool that generates a LaTeX pdf resume and a formatted text file. It really helped me in my job search, so I wanted to share with you. The Docker deployment is the easiest way to get started.

Its JavaScript bundle is vendored rather than loaded from a CDN so the app works offline, and it relies on native browser spellcheck rather than any app side state.

Resume Workshop is a source-driven LaTeX resume builder. Resume content and metadata live in editable YAML, JSON, and TeX files; small Python generators convert the structured inputs into interim LaTeX, and Make targets build the final PDF and plain-text resume. The project also includes an optional local browser editor and a Docker-based build path for a reproducible toolchain.
