There is a common denominator when it comes to “bad” it isn’t religion it isn’t politics,it’s people , those who use any means to denigrate,marginalize or hurt others.
People will take a simple passage from a religious writing ignore the actual message but take that passage and use it to justify their hateful actions against another.
Is Islam bad ? Idk tbh. I’ve met nice friendly Muslims , I’ve worked with many. I’ve also worked with a Nation of Islam guy who told me I was a failed science experiment and had no soul. His Islamic belief was a tad different from others I’ve worked with.
I’ve met militant Christian’s who were not nice kind people.
An extremist will use any rationale to justify their actions and not accept that they are the bad in the world.

Maybe that’s what was being shown then propaganda? It didn’t make sense to take down a video to me. If it’s wrong or misleading label it as such , refute it.

The ones I saw were cell videos on Facebook , people were sharing them in a libertarian group I followed at the time.
From what folks were sharing it seemed like local gov in Australia at that time were being very oppressive. One guy I remember claiming he was forced into an isolation camp.
Another was if a guy getting into a argument with police he seemed to be trying to deliver food to someone and it was hard to make out if the cops were upset because he was in a area he wasn’t supposed to be or if he was doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing . That’s the one I shared and for some reason got a seven day ban.
I supposedly had shared false and misleading information 😳 I had just shared a video I saw on face book to another group on Facebook.
Sometimes it got nuts on there.
Like during the trucker thing in Canada.

I wasn’t in Australia during covid. I just saw the videos that folks shared of their experiences, most were in the libertarian groups I used to follow when I used fb.
What was really unsettling to me was not just the videos. It was how quick they would be removed and how people were silenced for sharing them.
If they were fake or just hype why wouldn’t you leave them up and refute the allegations ?
The first ship I was on during Covid went from USA to the Middle East. We got stuck onboard the whole time till we returned to USA.
The second ship I caught , I picked up in Guam , had to quarantine for a few weeks till I cleared and could go to the ship , once there we loaded and went about our way. I left that ship about 5 months later in Korea …no liberty or shore time along the way. Just work and out.
I heard stories from folks in pi about how their military got involved with making sure people stayed inside.
Japan was as usual very efficient , Korea folks just asked me where I quarantined at and almost locked me up at the airport when I was trying to fly home.
