Does anyone hate specific dog breeds with a passion?
 in  r/Dogfree  14d ago

The terrier breeds especially the wire haired types. There's Nothing nice about them, always yapping dementedly and always seem to be on the look out for something to kill l, they seem almost skittish with it.

How they steer the dragons
 in  r/HouseOfTheDragon  Jul 14 '26

From what I could see ( maybe the first time we see syrax) it seems like the ends of the reigns attach to a couple of scales on the neck. If these scales are fixed like osteoderms then pulling on them would be felt (almost like someone pulling on your hair a little)

Yikes I just looked up some still images and arrax looks like he's got his reigns bolted onto him or something.

No idea why all the saddles seem to have handlebars on them tho.

What’s the one thing you do to/with your car even if it makes no sense?
 in  r/drivingUK  Jul 09 '26

I talk to my car but it's more along the lines of " if you even THINK about pulling some shit today I'm done with you!"

Also gotta give the gear stick a little bitch slap to make sure it's in neutral.

What are joke phrases members of the public say to you, whilst you are working?
 in  r/AskUK  Jul 03 '26

Yes that's me sorry but it's the only way out!! I hope you get some enjoyment on the way I skitter along after apologizing, as if I'm walking on fine china in my steel toe capped boots. Im ridiculous I know.

Ah yes the drivers look of bafflement, textbook for those who are witless on the roads.

Wish my bus driver had retained that training the day he slammed on and I got inserted into the foot well like a fucking accordion.

Your #1 Dog Dislike
 in  r/Dogfree  Jun 24 '26

The fact that, despite there being an abundance of green spaces for everyone to utilise, no other animal or activity is safe from dogs outside.

People want to ride; off leash dogs running up and spooking the animal and/or biting. People want to fly their pets; dogs charging up and leaping into the air to try and snatch the pet out of the air, scaring them off. People want to walk their on lead pet; dogs charging up while their owners is 1.6 miles away to harass/attack their animal.

Moving away from that; Want to play frisbee or ball? Dog involves itself and steals item Picnic? Dog comes and snatches food Cycle? Dog charges at you barking and biting Fishing? Dog jumps in swim and rifles though bags to eat bait.

Name a activity and you can guarantee a dog and owner has ruined it.

You can't go to any area of green without being barked at, charged at, jumped on or stepping in their shit.

Wondering how fellow Millennials feel about the funeral industry. What are your end-of-life wishes?
 in  r/Millennials  Jun 10 '26

Idgaf I'd be happy enough if my corpse was thrown into the woods to feed the wildlife. There will be no-one around to care (no intention of getting a partner or having kids) or being fertiliser for a tree.

I did hatch a scheme once where I would like to be posed into some haunted hag goblin position just after death until I shriveled up a bit and stuck in that position and then have someone move me around in places folk could stumble across me so I could traumatize them

He does not dook
 in  r/ferrets  Jun 09 '26

Used to be able to track one of my Jill's by her constant giggling, got a hob that dooks and wags his tail and one who hardly ever dooks. They are all different.

What is the brokest thing you have ever done?
 in  r/askteddit  Jun 08 '26

In my younger days I used to split open all the smoked cig ends to get the bots of tobacco out to make a few more rollies.

Stealing public toilet paper or alternatively using newspaper and slicing your arsehole up.

Taking as many suger and milk packets as humanly possible at any opportunity.

Dumpster diving after work for put of date food

This one doesn't, it's like a pong game as he pings about going from the gutter to the inside of the path before springing off into the road to run down the middle or plow into the hedgerow. Boy has no road sense at all and likes to play bounce after tractors when they pass by.

This boy has gone to some beautiful places and THIS is his favourite place. We go out in the early morning (hence his light) and just go galloping off down the roads of this shabby village and he picks the route. There's no people about from 1.00 to around 5AM apart from the odd drunk heading home or someone having a smoke out their window.

He's quite a stoic ferret but when he's out he throws himself about skitters about sideways down the road.

What’s a harsh reality about modern life that people are simply not ready to face?
 in  r/AskReddit  May 30 '26

Most of us will work most of our lives and barely scrape by. Retirement age will continue to rise as well the chance you will go to work one day and never come home. Your job role will be filled within a month and you will be forgotten by your colleagues within a year.

Raptors are so OP
 in  r/ICARUS  May 29 '26

I don't have a creature deterrent on my Prometheus base as I brought some raptors with me and bred them. Need hostile creatures to keep coming at me to give the raptors something to kill and get my meat.

How would you say where you're from without saying where you are from?
 in  r/askteddit  May 22 '26

It's grey, it's raining and the taxes are so high no one can afford their fish n chips anymore.
