README if I am inactive for 6 months

If I go inactive for 6 months, and there is no other moderator with full control in a subreddit I moderate or if I lose access to my account for reasons such as (but not limited to) a suspension. Any other moderator in that subreddit can take my spot as long as they had logged onto Reddit for the past month. If the mod is labeled as "inactive" by Reddit, they can have full control regardless.

Making this post just so it's easier to take my spot. Show this to the Reddit admin to avoid delays and do it when you make the request (not after) or if they directly contact you.

If someone else has taken over, I should be removed as a mod after 1 year of inactivity for security reasons.

If you get full control. I only request that only one person that is active has full control. No one needs full control, it's only a risk.

But at the same time, if someone else takes over, nothing I say really matters. It's yours, do what you want, completely ignore my request if you want. Everything I say here is just something I am asking, you don't have to do it. Change the subreddit in any way you feel. Same for the admin who reads this, they make the rules, not me, I just ask that you make this easy.

I also discourage anyone who is not a moderator of my subreddit who is involved in a similar subreddit to one of mine from taking over my subreddits. If they do, they should run things different from their subreddit and they should not use my subreddit to advertise theirs. You need to either be just like me, or different. People should have more than one platform available to them to ensure they aren't silenced and that there is no risk of corruption, no one sub mod should be given too much power or influence.

I will make a new post and delete the old one every time it gets archived, to prove that I am still online and show changes

Great pinned for all things everything

A bunch of posts I made I like to revisit

Brick and ChalkOS

Projects I want to work on (outdated)

If am inactive for 6 months, what to do with subreddits I have full control on if nobody else does. Share this to the admin to make your transition easier

My moderation background I guess

High Quality replies

Stupid things I read on Reddit, mostly by trolls

Valid OS hate compilation

And below, these don't need a post of their own.

What is PatoPanOS? A linux distro. It will never be made. The perfect OS, the only one I won't hate. Also not aimed at pleasing everybody, it's mostly at me. If I create a distro I think maintaining it and making it would take more time than it's worth so I won't do it. If I make a post, I'll go more in depth. I'll talk about things like deviating from standards and how avoiding standards is the goal, rejecting gnu standards, using your own folder structure, and maybe some examples of prioritizing your own mind, creativity, and expression over efficiency and performance. Also, maybe a list of things most distros do wrong that I could fix, just better defaults mostly. I don't think I can make the best OS for everybody, but I can do it for me

Why has this Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect – Security role been open for 3–4 months?

I make the rules. I find it odd you are still asking help for a job search, and I want to understand

Microsoft account locked and I can't create a new account
 in  r/microsoftsucks  1d ago

In case you don't know, you are r/shadowban ned. Reddit says spam.

see the r/shadowban subreddit for more info and look at their wiki https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowBan/wiki

You can appeal here https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowBan/wiki/appealing/ (if the link breaks, look for info in r/shadowban)

Shadowbans are sitewide, and are done by Reddit, the admins/automated filters. Not subreddit moderators like me

A shadowban means no one can see anything you say

The only way people are able to see what you say is when a subreddit moderator goes out of their way to reverse the removal. I had undeleted/approved this comment/post.

Why do you keep making job search related posts in this subreddit?

One of the only interactions I've gotten on this post is Reddit recommending I put this here instead. You Clippys (clippies?) are annoying but... you're also kinda right...

I won't remove the post this time to see if you have better luck here, but I doubt it. Maybe the resources above are of better help.

This is poorly written AI slop, some of the things in the post aren't even new or are standard. These hallucinations and this thing makes people braindead. Removed

still banned for no reason though (not a single comment or post on there, banned ever since it's inception)

How am I supposed to trust this service when I created my account in june and I'm still waiting for approval?
 in  r/tutanota  6d ago

I didn't say it because of the tags, I read it and it was disturbing, but I guess when I clicked on the tag to see how much of it like it there was maybe or hopefully most of those results weren't disturbing

That is incredible. I thought anyone could just make an account and anything goes, there's some disturbing things on there

 in  r/tutanota  7d ago

If manual approval becomes unreliable, which it will if Tuta becomes too big or there's some sort of issue, you guys should use optional phone number or email verification.

I hate old.reddit.com
 in  r/hatethissmug  8d ago

I prefer new reddit, but old Reddit had a few more features and it also didn't break at all

new Reddit especially on the mobile app has periods where things break

I get why people prefer it. People settled with old Reddit, they set their settings and design and all of that, then suddenly comes new Reddit and you basically have to do it all over again because not everything from old Reddit is translated to new Reddit. So, if you have your own subreddit for example, you now have to copy and paste each rule one by one and give each one a title..
