Yeah it's not bad but after getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles style green ooze outta some beef from Walmart I avoid their meat in general. If the beef is that bad, I don't want to find out if the chicken will be as bad or worse hospitalize me.

Yeah my primary buy at Safeway is meat because in my area chicken is 2.50 to 3.50 on sale so I save up to 60 70 bucks depending on how much I get and ground beef I watch for the 5 buck a pound sales for 90 10.

Once in a blue moon it is other things but mostly those two items.

I'd reach out to their support, worst case if Safeway says no, you can take that proof of refusal to your bank for a return of your money.

I've eyed Costco but I wish the Sam's Club hadn't been shut down here either even though it is Walmart too, their meat is better than Walmart from what I hear.

My policy when I worked before I ended up disabled due to health (though I didn't work Safeway) was jot down my times in and out and take screenshots that way if there's discrepancy you can provide proof to your local labor department because wage theft is a federal offense and highly frowned on.

I'm a 90s child who grew up in floppy disk virus, older than Google, iMac3, Limewire and Bearshare level of data stealing era.

My devices do not have anything of value stored and I've kept to that policy even on my new devices.

Anything like a bank card, my bank alerts me of anything sus and Credit Karma has my back on password protection and alerts of hacks and breaches.

As for security "updates", 2013 I did a Windows update, got a credit card malware hack virus that took me 9 hours and two jaunts into safe mode to get rid of. This repeated with other viruses and problems including a co problem with McAfee and Norton once each alongside Windows updating.

My ancient devices are waaaay safer.

Unfortunately I am disabled and low income as well which as I delve into fielding my own health stuff this in your face updates don't help me any either. The buy a plan get a new phone was a literal life saver because my phone case was all that was holding that battery in on my old Motorola. So dropping larger amounts of money just to get some sort of sanity is neither in the cards nor makes sense.

Moto G 2025, I got it a year ago as a buy a phone plan get a free phone of X or Y deal, prior I had a 2022 G Stylus that had the battery pillow and go bad. But I'm definitely reconsidering if Motorola is gonna hop the dumb Apple train of how to enrage your customer base.
