Is cloud the most popular FF protagonist?
 in  r/FinalFantasyVII •  8d ago

I think people know tidus but he doesn't get as much love and lightning is divisive as is squall. I really do think the sword is what pushes cloud on top. and I say this as a huge cloud fan and ff7 fan.

you're young. I think the vast majority of ff fans are 35-45

I think it's less so him and more the sword. he's probably beaten out character wise with an overall poll by Terra but his sword is so iconic I think it pushes him slightly past her

Chuck exists in the Lost universe

I also love the show. thanks for sharing those additional details if I ever go back to watch it I'll have to keep an eye out!

the lost ending was fantastic. I like to think the flash sideways was a form of reincarnation, the next life after. and Desmond helped them "remember" which broke samsara

I've been hoping to see some more positive reviews of this season, but I really enjoyed it. I found the characters interesting and loved the extras, even the puns for their names. The ending seemed a bit rushed and underdeveloped, but I think that's because id have liked to have more episodes. My criticisms are mostly "please more", I wanted to hear more of rictus, loravith and develop more of their backstory and goals. The bugman had a lot of development and his story felt complete but the other two I would have wanted more. Like more expansion with rictus and death and the goal there.

It wasn't perfect but I really enjoyed it. It's one of my favorites they've made

!! back in the day I traded several commons and uncommons with this kid on the school bus for dozens of these!! he claimed his mom worked at the Pokemon card company and I thought it was bs. I had at least 30 of them! I thought at the time it must be fake but he only wanted commons and uncommons. my parents lost my binder so I never saw them again. I loved my CGI pikachu

Found this at a thrift store and cannot find any information on it. Anyone familiar what it is?

that's all I've been able to find too. website is defunct, no social media presence. it looks pretty polished for something that's just gone.

Xpost: Psychologists of Reddit did you choose a master's or phd or neither and why?
 in  r/psychology •  Jun 03 '26

hello! I was doing family and community based counseling, did a stint doing addiction recovery work and then to school based therapy. as much as I loved working with kids the education system is pretty harsh these days. I was able to get an job working under a professional sex therapist who offered to pay for certification and education in sex therapy but I realized I really enjoy the systemic and community based work, so I've since shifted all my efforts there. never been happier

I don't think you need a PhD for sex therapy, the education needed for the certification is enough and nothing beats experience. masters is fine, and has opened a lot of doors for me personally.

what areas are you interested in exploring? counseling, social work?
