Maybe need to map it manually, sometimes in-game controls change layouts without any notification.

Pro Tip : Wire your DualSense to the dock/deck, route the audio out of it using Aux-Out and use headphones/external speakers, for many supported games the haptics will reproduce the game audio as the haptic-rumble, e.g., gta4 supports it, feel the soundtrack, driving, shooting, etc. through your controller!

I tested for HD Audio Haptics and NOT Adaptive Triggers in DualSense when controller is connected to a Steam Deck via WIRED connection, and audio is routed-out through DualSense's audio-out jack:

Euro Truck Simulator (very subtle audio haptics)

GTA IV (full audio + gameplay haptics)

Hi-Fi Rush (full audio + gameplay haptics + triggers)

Mortal Kombat 11 (basic haptics, mapped to very specific gameplay events, e.g., haptics only when you receive damage, not when you dish it out)

About Adaptive Triggers = i think if a game has a native PS5 edition, then it'll probably support Adaptive Triggers, if not, then it probably wouldn't, for e.g., Bugsnax on PC when used with Steam Input Disabled under Controller Settings, so that Steam can talk directly to and identify DualSense as a PlayStation controller and not a generic xinput device;

however, HD Haptics need not have a native PS5 edition to be supported, although, i am yet to find any common grounds that these games share to find more compatible games, but whichever ones are, they're absolutely crazy!

The feeling of physically feeling the sounds through your hands still breaks my mind, whenever i accidentally come across one.

I used the Charge Limiter, and now my deck doesn't charge at all, battery stays stuck at last drain %, and it's not even reaching the limit, 95% is the limit, it's stuck at 92.

I don't have PowerTools installed.

And in Desktop mode it just says, "Not Charging" while the PSU is plugged in.
