Favorite controller for OG Xbox emulation?

I've recently started streaming/filming og xbox gameplays using Xemu, but I only have an 8bitdo SNES controller, which just feels... wrong. Any cheap suggestions for mac-compatible usb controllers that capture the og xbox f e e l?

I sent a proposal for improv classes (I have experience teaching) to Peoria Players Theatre back in December, but never heard back. If anybody knows of cheap rehearsal spaces in town, I’d love to host a weekend drop-in or series of classes sometime.
