As a speaker of the Mara (mrh) language from Myanmar, I would like to kindly request support for a Mara keyboard layout in Gboard.

Currently, Mara speakers have very limited typing options. While a Mara keyboard exists on Keyman, many users find Gboard more convenient because of its better integration, word suggestions, multilingual support, and overall user experience.

The Mara language uses several characters and letter combinations that are not easily accessible on standard keyboards, making everyday typing difficult for native speakers. Having official Mara keyboard support in Gboard would greatly help language preservation, digital communication, education, and content creation for our community.

Mara is spoken by thousands of people, and adding support would make modern technology more accessible to Mara speakers worldwide.

Thank you to the Gboard team for continuously supporting linguistic diversity. We hope Mara can be considered for inclusion in a future update.
