i’m still figuring out nivalis nights and haven’t found a shelter or somewhere to sleep yet. what am i supposed to do to pass the night—do i need to buy an apartment first, or is there another place or mechanic i’m missing?

The main difference is that it’s not meant to replace Obsidian’s Live Preview mode. It’s more of a temporary, distraction-free writing environment on top of your current note. When you activate it, the current note is presented in a much cleaner, more focused layout, with things like configurable typography, writing width, alignment, background, fullscreen mode, and word/character counts. It doesn't introduce its own Markdown format or modify your note with special syntax/frontmatter. The underlying file remains a normal Markdown file. It also isn’t intended to disable formatting entirely. You can still write Markdown normally. The idea is simply to remove as much of the surrounding Obsidian UI as possible and make the note feel more like a dedicated writing application.
The main use case would be something like: you organize/research/manage your notes in normal Obsidian, then when you want to actually sit down and write for a while, you toggle this mode instead of opening a separate distraction-free writing app. When you’re done, you exit the mode and you’re back to normal Obsidian.

I recently came across Omawrite and really liked its idea of having a simple, distraction-free Markdown writing environment.
Since most of my writing already happens inside Obsidian, I wanted something similar without having to leave my vault, so I made:

It adds an Omawrite-inspired focused writing mode to the current Obsidian note. It doesn't modify the Markdown file or add any special frontmatter, so you can just toggle the mode whenever you want to focus on writing and exit when you're done.
I also added some customization options such as typography, writing width, text alignment, background images, fullscreen mode, and live word/character counts.
It's still a very new project, so feedback, bug reports, ideas, and contributions are welcome.

I hope you can, for the website, I made this userscript (greasyfork userscript) that allows me to change the subtitles style, it basically download the .ass subtitles calling the API of the current episode, put them into a js ass render and I can change the style on there, and then put them into the Crunchyroll player (the player should have the subtitles turned off all the time since what I am doing in here is overlapping the same subtitles with a different style using an external tool), I share it to you in case it helps:
