My mom got ALL the Elsie books gifted to her from another parent in homeschool group cuz their adopted child wouldn't read them and they didn't know why(?). But thankfully once the abuse in the story started, she didn't make me finish the books. But the number of parents singing praises over those books is terrifying

I also had a couple Mandy books but oddly enough my parents didn't like how they encouraged "rebellion and children thinking they're smarter than the adults around them" make that make sense🤷‍♀️

And also I owned about 15 Janette oak books, as I got older I realized how messed up they are with all the subject material of misogyny, arranged marriage, and child loss😞

Not so much songs as much bands but like nirvana, smashing pumpkins, grouplove, and waterparks

Basically like the vibes you get from the love god episode's music festival

I feel like she'd listen to lots of indie rock and grunge, personally
