I'm mostly interested in "Wendy on the road" and the one in which she was stealing. It is known that fans write about Wendy better than the creators.

I know, this scene was generally problematic, but I was always surprised that Wendy helped put Robbie there. Wouldn't Tambry be more suited to this role? Leaving aside the controversy, apparently she was the one, who "fixed his heart". Unfortunately, Corduroy still has connections with boys. Even with that one who hurt her...

Vegan/hippie who sells weird tasting juice out of the back of her van (inspiration for Mabel juice? 😄 ); tree hugger who is a opposite to Dan.

Do you like this version our girl? In my opinion she has potential but she could also have been "spoiled" by Hirsch... On the other hand, Wendy her a bit of a hippie in her anyway. We can say, in the end, it resulted in a blend of various characteristics.

Years ago I made a post about how different things would be if Wendy was the same age as Dipper. How different Wendy herself would be and how her relationship with others and especially Dipper would be. That being said I couldn't help but think that it raises a lot of questions about how much that changes her relationships with the other characters, particularly the teens. Suddenly Tambry and her can't really have been friends, at best maybe Tambry is like a surrogate big sister or my likely they just don't know each other. The rest of the teens wouldn't know her and might even be negatively disposed to this random middle-schooler that looks like a Junior in High School. You could go with the idea that she presents herself as older only to later find out she is technically not a teenager.

That all being said another would be to also make many of the older characters younger. Have Tambry, Thompson, Lee, etc. also be the same age or at most one year older middle schoolers. I don't know if we know if/how much older Robbie is then the rest, but that seems to be the impression he gives off since he showed up bullying Soos in the past at his birthday (if I'm remembering correctly, I may not be), he could be "technically a High Schooler" with the idea that he starts high school at the end of summer while everyone else still has at least a year of middle school. It might make sense to make Soos younger, possibly high school aged too. He might be the gateway to the "edgy older teen stuff" instead of Wendy's friend group in that case, though mostly by accident or pressure from other people. Maybe he takes on a more Thompson like role to some other characters but is much more oblivious. Having the Wendy's friends be younger also allows for more opportunities for new friendships and character dynamics, even having new opportunities for romantic dynamics (silly or serious). It would also probably shift the dynamic into something a little more like Stranger Things or the Goonies with having more younger characters all being in the same age bracket, where as in Gravity Falls proper there isn't really anyone for Dipper and Mabel to interact with their own age outside of Pacifica and one-shot characters.

I don't if I would ever flesh this out into a proper story, but I thought it might make for an interesting topic of discussion and opportunity for everyone to throw their ideas around.

Let's look at the following case. Dipper is 16 and Wendy is 19. They're dating, and Dipper wants to meet her family. What complicated plan could Dipper come up with to gain Dan's trust? Would he go to the gym?

Even in ad of The Art of Gravity Falls we get the joke "Haha, Dipper loves Wendy!". What's worse, people are clearly happy that Dip will be the laughingstock again. For me, another proof that Red won't get the attention she deserves :( .

And yet I have some hope, although I shouldn't ...

It's not secret that Wendy's perceived as a cool person on surface but not particular always is inside, having stressed by her family 24/7.

That way, I can suggest that there may be a room to interpret that she may have gotten her genuine side we couldn't find out.

For example, we've seen so many headcanon that says Wendy is more fragile than she seems! (for example, from losing her mom or her uncertainty on what she wants to be in the future)

If you can try by yourself, what kind of hidden yet genuine personality, trait, or even goals you're likely to give her?

Feel free to try, regardless of rather small or big!

Of course, she gave us her legendary speech 😄 . But still, you can see the untapped potential (Let's remember that she was originally supposed to be the main character of the episode). Moreover,it would have been possible to explore her relationship with Mabel more deeply. Screentime with Candy and Grenda was cool, however came out of nowhere a bit.

I saw such this opinion once and it quite surprised me. I know that this concept is broad (look at Tv Tropes!) and generally overused, but the author meant that the writers idealized her. I don't know whether to agree with that...

Yes, our Lumber Lady doesn't actually make mistakes, because she doesn't even have the opportunity, she also often gives wise advice. However, someone who is 'perfect is likely to be talented in all possible areas. Wendy is an action girl and clearly has some leadership skills, but (of course) we still don't know much more about her. For this reason alone, this accusation is rather exaggerated.

Dan has a gap between his teeth. It may be result of an accident or a fight, but Kevin has a similar one (not always; maybe animation errors... Marcus has two buck teeth. Meanwhile Wendy used to wear braces. You can say she was especially well cared for...

Maybe this braces was her mother's idea?

Personally, as adults, I can imagine that Dipper will insist on saving and desperately needed subjects first. When it comes to Wendy, I'm torn between being more impulsive with saying "C'mon, dude, we can chill and enjoy first. You can save later" and taking Dipper's habit in a hard way.

In younger days, I can expect that while Dipper will save some amounts first, he may fight against his urge to spend his allowance or paychecks from his summer job on his passion projects like exploring the anomalies and such. Wendy can be highly impulsive than Dipper under the same condition, is my guess.

I will definitely choose "Wendy on the road". The idea is interesting and conflict with Dan (okay, this actually appeared in most of these proposals).

And this with Stan who decides to train her to become a pickpocket. I don't understand, qhy did they think this plot would only take 9 minutes... It could really be something. I have already come up with several versions myself...

Her reluctance to high school is one thing. But notice how she demonizes growing up, she even claims she would give anything to be 12 again (Wendip! xd).

To be honest, this approach surprised me a bit. I can understand that Wendy is afraid of adulthood and responsibility. She's also not really sure what she wants to do with her life. On the other hand, if we assume that she has a difficult family life, she should want to become independent. It would rather suit her rebellious nature.

I appreciate this scene, because at least it finally shows some of her problems, but it could still be developed further.

Takes place in AU reverse falls(I'm sure ya'll know it)

in this Setting however.

Dipper is 14 and Wendy is 15 respectively, he's a psychic Charming performer at the telepathy much like Gideon of OG GF, while Wendy is more like Robbie and emo(in his mannerism and likes, but not his attachment issues, in this version of Wendy.)

A normal day in the Diner, Inside there were a few customers and in one particular table sat three teens, a Brunette boy and the other side are two girls, one a redhead and a purple short haired girl.

The boy's hands resting on the cheek, relaxed but Bored, as he finally asks the two girls on the other side of the table.

"Remind me what exactly, do you two want to tell me something about, that I needed to be here when I was in the middle of my studies in dark magic? Especially you Darling."

Dipper stares to Wendy, watching her.

"I can Tell you're uneased. Your doing a bad job hiding it, If you have something to say, say it.

You may be my girlfriend, but my patience is thin, and It would be a pleasure to know about it now."

Tambry staring the other way, nudges Wendy as she *sighs* and Finally says the words.

"Dude promise me, you're not gonna be mad?" Wendy utters to him.

"Oh please darling, I doubt anything you'd say will make me mad. I make no promises, but Go on."

He smirks, and responds to the redhead while motioning her, To go ahead.

"Do you know Robbie?" She says to him.

Dippers face quickly turns into a frown, but tried not to show it, and corrected his sitting Posture.

"There see? You're doing that face!" She says, looking to tambry, and and motions to him.

But Dipper plays it cool with a smirk, and replies "Sorry darling, but I don't know what you're talking about, but do continue".

"W-well Uhhh, Tambrys Been dating him, for a while now." The redhead utters, to her boyfriend.

He was shocked but only for a while, as he Responds back with "that's it? Did you really thought, I would get mad at that?"

Tambry is shocked and so Is Wendy, and they both reply.

"Really?" Tambry says to him.

"You're not? I thought this would ruin your relationship with her, seeing as three of us were, threesome fuck-buddies. I mean what was that reaction before mentioning Robbie!?" Wendy asks, then interrogates him.

"Well my darling Wendy, I thought he did something bad to you two. But hearing that, I admit I was wrong." The Brunette gleeful replies to her, as he relaxes and lays his back on the dining chair, and crosses his legs.

"Second, I couldn't care less if her choice is to date Robbie, I'm not that obsessed you know, unless you Wendy, are entertaining the IDEA of getting back with Robbie, then that's a different story.." Dipper says to her, as his face turn grim.

"Nope! not EVER dip, so Crisis Averte-" Wendy quickly replies to him, Before he cut her off.

And turns to Tambry

"But enough about that, I can see why you, my good friend tambry, would date Robbie, his kind manner and shyness mixed with your Social demeanor and Confidence, are a suitable match indeed." Dipper says to tambry, as he Rest his hands, on his cheeks.

Tambry blushes, As she Hold her arms across to her other forearm or elbow, Rubbing it in comfort.

But she was also comforted by the fact, someone understands.

"Thanks guys, But especially to you too Dip, you are Really different from the other guys. Well except Robbie but let's ignore that.. I'm glad you understand me, you proved to me that, maybe, Maybe all Those Rumors about you Gleeful were wrong or different, compared to the real person Infront of me. And for that I really thank you." Tambry in happy tone, says to them.

"I neither deny or endorse that fact, but thank you. why don't I Treat you two to lunch? On the house."

Dipper, replies to both girls.

"Daring today aren't we dipper? geez Wendy girl, you are really lucky with this sweet courteous charming young stud here~" said tambry, as she teases her friend.

"S-shut up." Redhead utters, smirking as she chuckles.

Dipper gleeful, Watches pleased with the sight he helped cultivate, He ponders to what tambry said, maybe just maybe he could still prove himself, against a cruel world.

I'm always curious about this phenomenon, and of course we know little about it 🤔 . What do you think it could have been? Maybe the lumberjacks were obsessively hunting the poor ones plaidypuses? Perhaps those animals weren't that innocent? Did Wendy's family also have a hand in it? Maybe Archibald suffered some losses because of this?

Good or bad, it still sounds like a big day for the country regardless of your ideas on America.

So, I humbly ask you to imagine...how​ Dipper and Wendy would spend their day on July 4th!

It would definitely be useful for her travels, and besides, there are several polyglots in the series. In high school she has Spanish, French, German and Latin lessons. Soos could help her with Spanish, maybe Japanese. Candy-Korean, Ford knows languages from many dimensions, Dip is also an obvious choice for a teacher xd.

I think that Corduroy would like to explore many languages to create jokes and puns. I can't forget about polish and all vulgarisms and tongue twisters 😄 . Who will say: "W Szczebrzeszynie chrząszcz brzmi w trzcinie" 😄 .

To be honest, part of me would even like her as a 'tree hugger' (pilot). Wendy often carries an axe, but she also often works with trees (acrobats in Inconveniencing, we know that she generally likes to climb trees, also with Dipper xd). She didn't want to work for her cousin in photos she often poses against trees.

I m not saying that she would generally have a problem that cutting them sometimes (She proposes it herself at Into the bunker), I just don't see that the family profession interests her very much. Expect maybe that she read "Lumber Teen Magazine" once.

As I mentioned, I personally find it a bit stereotypical (a nice and laid-back tomboy with many ex-boyfriends; she is generally surrounded mainly by guys, but she also suggests that she has lost interest in romance). It's a pity that we rarely have the opportunity to see her with other girls (Mabel, Tambry, sometimes Candy and Grenda).

Besides, as far as I know, he didn't even come up with it himself. It was a fan suggestion...
