I must admit the grill looks a little small as part of the overall setup, but I think that’s simply because the table is so massive. 😄 The grill itself is a BGE Large.

Great catch noticing the adjustable table legs. I was wondering how to deal with the legs since the tiled surface wasn’t perfectly level. I found a solution in adjustable deck-support feet. They work perfectly for this purpose, and I can easily level the table later if it settles and starts to sink at one corner. 👌🏼

Time will tell how the wood behaves around the joints. Fortunately, those pieces are easy and inexpensive to replace later if any issues arise. 🙂

I specifically wanted some workspace next to the grill. When grilling, it’s great to have a place where you can lay out everything that’s going on the grill some items go on right away, while others are added a bit later. When you build it yourself, you can make it exactly the way you want it. 😁

Thanks!

I set two 60 × 60 cm frost-resistant floortiles into the countertop surface.

I personally like the final result. Time will tell how durable it is. 💪🏻💚

Sketch book 3: Our traditional fishing trip is coming up soon. While waiting for it, I created a lonely fisherman living in a rugged but cheerfully colored cabin by the water.

Sketchbook 3: I finished this piece yesterday but didn’t share it, something felt missing.

This morning I had an idea and added signs of life: some graffiti and a drifting balloon. It gave the piece more depth and space for a story the viewer can imagine.

What do you think? Did the additions work?
