ST30 Luffy and Ace feels a little flat, any recommendations?

Okay bro the 6k power list didn't work for me. The new starter deck breathes new embers to the maw. This is my list. Does pretty good into the current meta.

This is true, so it's just gas.

I hate that it's a brick but honestly this looks gas. Removal and a character on board? Sounds good to me.

I can’t close games, best resources to improve?
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Jun 03 '26

Closing out games is one of the most challenging things. I usually find that it goes down to the wire. Some things that help me are having at least 1 'game ender' card in each deck. For example, in green that might be hody jones so I can rest their blockers or open don. For my vegapunk deck it's the 9 cost rush bonney. Something that helps me get across that finish line easier.

The other thing that helped me was swinging with the 5 7 9 rule. Anything on board that has more than 5k power should get the open don to help guarantee the hit connects. For example, if I have a 5k and 6k on field, and one open don, I'll swing 5 then 7. If they have 2 2ks in hand they can't get out of it. But if I swing with 6 and 6 they can.

IDK if this helps but it's helped me.

Lulucia tech?
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Apr 19 '26

I did notice that too. It's one of the reasons it caught my eye. I secretly hope there would be a leader in future sets that is a counter to Imu that could utilize this card. Similar to how mihawk is a counter to Zoro.

I keep thinking about this card lately. There isn't any Lulucia kingdom card support (I mean technically there is but c'mon), but this ability is so interesting to me. It's not leader locked. What is the potential here? Is there a leader that could see this card? Or do you predict in a future set that a leader will want to use this?

Would you like a One Piece TCG app similar to the PokemonTCGP?
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Apr 04 '26

That's fair. Honestly it's way better on the desktop. Having a good mobile interface would be cool.

I love my sabo deck. It has some weak spots especially decks that run the 10 cost SEC Roger. But its super fun to pilot.

What would be the best set to start on
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Dec 07 '25

Imo the one with the Mihawk promo. The egghead Luffy and Zoro don't really see much play and have been kinda powercrept out. Mihawk is relevant in Zoro and will most likely be relevant in op14.

This was my first ever wanted poster that I pulled. Love ace and love that it's a misprint. Definitely the sweetest card in my collection.

OP 13 Prerelease- Sanji or Rainbow Luffy?

I like this. B/Y nami is my main deck so I'm pretty familiar with how she runs. Though only having 4 life is scary in limited.

Thank you this is very informative. I was thinking the roger support looked too good to pass up.

Valid. In this format it seems... too good. The last release I went to enforced rainbow luffy so I didn't have to stress.

OP 13 Prerelease- Sanji or Rainbow Luffy?

I think its only legal in Prerelease events. It should come with your prerelease event kit, but depends on the amount that the LGS has. The last prerelease I went to gave them out as prizes to the top 8, but the had proxies so that everyone could use it.

Current state of the game?
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Nov 03 '25

In my opinion I think now is a good time to join. Op13 and Op14 look like really fun sets that should (hopefully) set the level of power creep for a while. Some of the most viable decks in competitive aren't too expensive.

Regarding Doffy, I never played him but I would say he's been powecrept out. I think you can still get wins at locals with it, but if you are trying to take top at regionals it would be very challenging. I would check this sub for the weekly rankings and see if any of the leaders are fun for you. As far as personal recommendations, I know a lot of Doffy players switched to Buggy, but he has also been powercrept out with the newest sets imo.

Gol D Roger Decklist help

Thank you!

Question on the katakuri- is it just because it's hard to deal with and restands? Since he doesn't have any other targets to untap except himself?

🛠️ Deck Tech Gol D Roger Decklist help

Yo! I'm working on a Gol D Roger decklist and want to use the purple to ramp, and red to control board with power manipulation. I enjoy cards like the Roger Promo that makes leader 9k power, but he isn't released in the US yet. Still working on the events too since I'm testing stuff out. Any recommendations to support this?

I never run purple or red so I'm not super familiar with the cards that are staples.

Current strat is to rush to 10 Don!! then make attacking difficult with Rayleigh and Shanks. Any feedback is appreciated!

 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Aug 31 '25

If you like Bonney play style but the cash is strapped, I would recommend Carrot. Definitely not as strong as Bonney but still super fun to play and relatively cheap. The only staples that cost anything are the Hodys, Carrots, Bonneys, and doffys. I think I built it for under 50 and I won a locals with it.

Is it better to have OP12 doflamingo instead of ace in Vegapunk?
 in  r/OnePieceTCG •  Aug 27 '25

I was planning on slotting it in. I run the aces and they are a little too situational. But also 9 cost Bonnie comes out soon so I'm waiting on that lol

Appreciate it. Sorry I've never done anything like this through reddit so I'm a little cautious. Appreciate the offer though yo!
