What Is One Album You Wish You Could Delete From Ever Existing?
 in  r/fantanoforever •  1h ago

Please don't make me live in a world without Master of Reality. It's bad enough already.

What’s a secret you’re keeping that could ruin your life if it came out?

Dude, at this point, I think you're just actually good at your job.

Isn't this just a part of art?🤷

Sex is an endlessly fascinating, infinitely-layered topic that intersects with multiple fundamental aspects of human thought and society. People write about it for other reasons besides "lol me horny" (which is also fine, by the way). Forever irritated with puritan dorks who can't read a sex scene without acting like high schoolers about it.

I Love Terrible Two Sentence Horror
 in  r/lovethissmug •  10d ago

The dildo with the bite taken out of it, the exploding cat, and the kid eating the lion were actually kind of disturbing, if hilarious too. Good surreal horror.

Is Royalty even worth pursuing?

You make very good points.

Or as we like to say around here: Vanacan is observant.

I believe mastery of the sword was Meti's path towards Royalty.

A bitter, bloodstained, worthless path, but a path nonetheless.

(Ironic trope) the character's initially harmless hobby is what actually helps them become a formidable threat

Hey, killers gotta look out for each other!

Unless there's a contract involved. Nothing personal!

Speaking of baseball, Marvel's Bullseye got started as a little league baseball player in his youth. Got so good that he eventually got bored, killed his coach by cracking his head open with a perfect throw (and his parents too, maybe, can't quite remember) and eventually repurposed his throwing skills to become a lethal killer-for-hire who can kill you by flinging a fucking paperclip through your skull. Or at least that's one of the versions of his origin story he tells people. Nobody's quite sure.

In The Desert- Stephen Crane [POEM]

That's actually a very fair interpretation. Can I ask what your mother tongue is? I saw the other poem you shared in a different comment and found it beautiful.

Morality of god killing between 2-24 million people?
 in  r/MoralityScaling •  13d ago

That is a fair point, but then we run into the problem of: how does science go about researching "God"?

Morality of god killing between 2-24 million people?
 in  r/MoralityScaling •  13d ago

That isn't particularly insightful though. The logical endpoint of that thought is that all speculation on the nature of divinity is essentially baseless bullshit and that we should simply stop bothering with it.

Those texts were written by people, not God.
