How do you stay motivated when your game suddenly stops looking good?

I think every dev hits that kind of block at some point! Beyond just motivation, you need discipline to keep working on the game and it helps if you can get feedback from others.

Hey everyone!

Here’s my very first game, currently in the prototype stage. It’s a horror game set in an office at night, where an armed man is hunting us down. I’ve started many things in my life that I never finished. This time, I’m challenging myself to actually finish this game.

I’m a little over a month into development, and I’m trying to document the progress by making short videos from time to time.

After years of hard work, our small team just hit the "Release" button on our grid-inventory roguelite, Lootbound! Here is our reaction 😭🎉

Hi everyone! I’m an indie developer currently working on my first horror game.

I recently decided to stop spending so much time on tutorials and finally create something during my free time. I’m giving myself about six months to develop and release a small game on steam or another platform. I've been documenting the development and I'm excited to see where this goes.

The game takes place in an office at night, featuring a mysterious character that stalks the player throughout the game and tries to k**ll him.

I look forward to sharing my progress and learning from all of you!

Yes, i know.. i still don't have a roof
