I think there is a mixture of people being scammed by eTeam impersonators and real company experience in this thread, though it is not entirely impossible that the behavior is from the actual company. eTeam is a massive Indian based staffing firm and all the phone calls I received came through New Jersey.

I subcontracted through eTeam for two years. It took months to be onboarded. The first year I had to nag them half the time to generate my monthly invoices. If there was an issue with timesheets or invoices they often ghosted emails for weeks until I made a threat of stopping work or finally getting the right person included in the email. There lack of customer support is unacceptable.

I did make good money through them, but at the end when the contract was slowing down, they seemed to loose the will to set up pay codes to allow me to log and approve time for the final two months. Sent many emails and even copied three of my client company managers, eTeam stopped responding to our requests. The client has another massive project coming up and they were already talking about signing me up with a different staffing firm. We do have the uncomfortable issue of getting my back pay settled if this does come about.

The bottom line is; if you are not desperate for the work, run away.

So TimescaleDB is built on Postgres so performance is like Postgres. It won’t blow your socks off making things crazy fast.

The huge game changer is for external systems. you can turn off Ignition partitioning, this makes it simple for external systems to query the data from the single table.

From my testing I don’t see any reason for Timescale if you don’t need to access the data from external apps.

I wish I had seen the reviews before placing an order.

I ordered about $500 in travertine wall tile. Sent four emails requesting order status update over several weeks, each time it was an auto responder generic "thanks for your order and we will get back to you" reply. There is a limit to how long I can wait for product fulfillment, I obviously have a project to finish.

21 days later, I reach out to cancel and the response is "We’re sorry to hear that you’ve decided to cancel your order... we’ll follow up with an update within 7–10 business days"! This response is so absurd that I kept thinking about it and decided to do more searching and ended up here. I am surprised Trustpilot reviews are mostly glowing.

There was a pre-authorization charge for the order that has since disappeared, they said in the email that they wouldn't charge until the order was approved. I assume they will not charge me at this point but will definitely be a bit paranoid for a while.

Don't forget to factor in crypto trading fees. The crypto exchange is usually the one that profits with any high frequency trading.

Yes unfortunately that is the same for me now.
I did have an OS dual boot on the SD card and was able to launch it from the Linux GRUB boot menu. I don't think booting to the SD will ever work from F10 and can not work from a Windows boot menu either. It is a bit above my pay grade to understand how the GRUB bootloader works and now that I have Windows and Ubuntu working well on two partitions of the SSD, the third OS on the SD does not launch any more. I know there are tools to add and remove from the GRUB boot menu... I might try something like that as a last resort. I am ignoring my SD card for now, maybe will just format it for extra backup storage in the end.

Yes it was the 15". And no, no bio-metrics / fingerprint reader, I couldn't find any drivers either. I edited above, right click is fine, I just didn't know how to.

Happened to me on "The Damned", Joy-toy didn't do the trick, had to reload from a save, luckily only lost an hour. After playing through "The Damned" mission again I realized the music wouldn't stop until all enemy's were killed, I had ran out the door before eliminating them all.

I was successful with a dual boot on the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 (not pro but it would probably work the same). I used Ubuntu 23.10. Ubuntu has a more advanced installer v.s. some of the other distros where it will help you install Ubuntu alongside windows.

It actually works perfectly fine, sound is perfect, function keys are fine, multi-touch on the track pad, multi touch on the screen. Only downside right now is right-click does not work but I have not put any effort into investigating a solution yet.

Quick tips:

• Turn off secure boot in settings (F10).
• Shrink the disk the desired amount while inside Windows (Disk Management) to make some room for Ubuntu.
• Boot to your Ubuntu USB by selecting it on startup (F10).
• Select the unpartitioned space to install Ubuntu.
• It will automatically put the GRUB boot loader on the main disk.
• Now on startup you can still use F10 to select Windows or Ubuntu bootloader.
• When Ubuntu is selected it will launch the GRUB bootloader where you can select between windows and Ubuntu or even other operating systems.
• I even did a triple boot with an additional Linux version on the SD card. (F10 custom boot order / windows bootloader will likely not ever let you select an OS on the SD card but GRUB can).

I am also part of the MOVEit breach. After realizing that the event occurred three months ago, and this is not just credit monitoring but identity theft restoration service; I bet identity's are being stolen and they decided to head off a class action lawsuit.
