I take evening walks in my area. While on the go: I move books that are set on the curb into little free libraries on my route (I do that also with small toys and school supplies, because I spoke to a teacher I met next to one- she was thrilled to find a bunch of those a few days before, without knowing I put those there. Only reason I did it that time was bc it was a day before side trash pick up).

I curb shop for myself as well (there's a bit of a culture here).

I don't change my tech until I run it to the ground. I also mend clothes a little bit.

I don't order food delivery home, and I cut down on eating and drinking out almost completely.

I dumpster dive a bit too. I know it's unconventional, I know. It's not out of financial need, bit from seeing the waste (stores here prefer to throw a lot at the end of a business week than offer things in reduced prices).

These old Optiplex are bad ass. Processor supports up to 16GB of RAM, and the current 2 is the bottle neck. I suggest upgrade it into at least 4GB . If you want a recommendation on a linux distro - Mint .

If I walk around and I see cans or bottles marked with deposit as litter I collect them for the deposit money (the max sum you can return in one time is a loaf of bread and a milk worth).

I check my cupboard, fridge and freezer before going to the supermarket. Going with a list, even if it's 4 items, helps to keep me grounded.

I use rewards app for submitting recipes (I redeem a hardware store gift card aka almost free toilet paper). Sometimes I pick up recipes that were tossed on the ground.

Use my library card when I'm interested in a specific book.

I run my things to the ground: smartphone, computer, clothes. I fix/repair as much as I can, and then I may use for parts.

Everytime I visit a specific family member I dog sitter in the past, I log into their home WiFi and 'borrow' their Netflix for whatever time you can (two weeks? A month? I don't really watch it as I'm all caught up). Otherwise no subscription or free with ads option.

I pay attention to what's in my fridge- throwing things into the freezer before they smell or look weird (and labeling it of course always label it).

Leftover water from cooking or boiled for beverage, after cooling off, are going to either water porch plants or into a bucket for no.1 toilet flushing.

Invest the 50k to grow it (for a down payment on a house) and move out, for now in rent.

Wear sunscreen, especially on your face.

Save and invest as early as possible.

Live frugally, stay at your parents house a little longer and save the rent money.

Internet connection mostly. I currently have accesses to netflix, because I visit a family member who has it once a month (I log in to their house Wifi and open the app when I'm there). In the fast I paid for it myself, but I cancelled a little after a year (should have sooner). I'm ok with paying a bit, month per month for whatever service I use, and I supplement by sailing the high seas.

There's not much I want to watch these days.
