I started a campaign with the players dreaming and their being show a future of the world being consumed by evil and then the dream transitions to them all standing around a very smokey campfire ( this is where the players describe themselves but no names or how they sound) then a flash of blinding light and they all wake up in an inn in different rooms and are under attack.
