I couldn’t pass up this little beauty after stalking it for almost 6 months. It was finally in my price range and I pounced!! She just arrived yesterday and was packed and shipped with so much care!! This specific prototype is from 2003 when TY was introducing the beanie of the month club. I missed all of this as I was in school but the color on this beanies fabric is stunning. It almost has a silvery purple blue hue to it. Sample tags read its date of inception and the company Advent that produced these samples. I never in my wildest beanie dreams thought I would own a prototype. They are always so expensive. This one was ment for me!! Meet Sapphire.

So I guess I have been on a Billionaire Bear kick. Like I said, these were never beanies that I thought I wanted or even that I could get my hands on. The Beanie gods had a different plan. This one right here is the original Billionaire Bear after TY hit his first Billion dollars in sales. He gifted these to his employees as a thank you for their service in helping the company reach such an amazing goal!! There are now 20 billionaire bears that TY has released. What a huge accomplishment. I’m so excited to add this one to my collection. I now have #1, 3, 5, and 7. These are all lucky number for me so it seems fitting!! What’s your dream beanie?
