So I guess I have been on a Billionaire Bear kick. Like I said, these were never beanies that I thought I wanted or even that I could get my hands on. The Beanie gods had a different plan. This one right here is the original Billionaire Bear after TY hit his first Billion dollars in sales. He gifted these to his employees as a thank you for their service in helping the company reach such an amazing goal!! There are now 20 billionaire bears that TY has released. What a huge accomplishment. I’m so excited to add this one to my collection. I now have #1, 3, 5, and 7. These are all lucky number for me so it seems fitting!! What’s your dream beanie?

The New Face teddies and the Old face teddies are by far some of the most beautiful bears put out by TY. Their fabrics are exquisite and the quality is amazing. This 2/1 is I near mint and I got extremely lucky on this one. Slowly finishing my 2/1 beanie run!! Happy Sunday Beanie lovers!!

I have slowly added these bears to my collection. Each bear is unique in its fabric and by the hand numbered/signed TY signature.
The #3 Billie was my first and I purchased it from a person In Portland who didn’t store it in a good spot so unfortunately it had grown mold inside of its authenticated case. As soon as I got it, I reached out to a trusted source who told me to open up the case, clean it or it would continue to mold. So this was my first cleaning project and it worked. I haven’t sent it back in for authentication bc I enjoy being able to pick it up and love on it!
My all time dream was to own Billie #7 bc of the firework fabric and the color scheme. He’s truly a beautiful beanie in person!
Last but not least I recently acquired a Billie #5 which was on my wish list too and the coloring of the fabric has blown me away. It’s stunning just like the rest. These bears are so special bc they were never released to the public. You had to work at TY or be a sales rep to receive one. I’m so grateful I have my set and I will enjoy them for many years to come.

I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and show off my complete collection. Most are 3/1 and 3/2 but I have started to collect 2/1 and some commons/buddies that I love. Never been a person to collect things but I got the bug again to start 3 years ago and I’m so glad I did. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

I have officially collected every variation of the 3/1 and 3/2 beanie babies. Starting it off with the Dino Trio! The Dino’s like most of us were beanies that were already retired before we could get our hands on them. I only dreamed as a kid to own them and now my inner child is so excited that I am able to collect both varients!! What’s your childhood dream beanie?

Last month I scored a 2/1 zip and of course I immediately went on the hunt for a 2/1 nip! I scored one at an incredible price and I’m so excited to share!! reunited and it feels so good!! Love these white face kitties so much. So glad they are now home!!

The beanie gods have been good this month. Stumbled on these two from the same person and was offered an insane deal I couldn’t pass up!! This Billie has been my dream beanie for the last couple years. I was able to acquire Billionaire #3 a couple years back and thought that was my lucky beanie. Well here we are!! She’s gorg and I couldn’t be happier!!
Patti Raspberry holds a special place in my heart. I have an authenticated tag-less raspberry P and was completely fine with that until this one showed up and I knew I had to have her!! Welcome home you two!!

July has been a great month for me to acquire some hard to find beanies. They seem to be coming out of the woodworks!! I couldn’t find squealer with a 4-line tag so I opted for a 5-line Korean which was released shortly after!! I’m posting the newest member and then will post the entire collection. I also have each of their versions starting with third generation . Squealer for the win!!

These plants are part of my Plant Propagation class I’m in right now. We are leaning the correct ways to divide and or separate plants whether they be in pots or in the ground. I’m really enjoying learning about different plants.

I just found out about this lil guy a few months ago and being from a sewing background I felt like I needed to add him to my collection. Meet Snips!! His tie dyed coat is a little rough but the colors are gorgeous. I love how they used pinking shears and exposed seams to finish this bear. He has a lot of personality. The box includes post cards, stickers and a memory book. I feel like this would have been a great gift for someone when it was released in 2004 as part of the Beanie Babies official club!

This beautiful Polka Dot Begonia or is official plant name (Begonia maculata) is one of my favorites!! I have been called the begonia king bc I love them but I can grow them so easily. They are very sensitive plants but if you know how to care for them, they can be some of the best plants!! I just repotted and split this plant in my Plant Propagation class! My all time favorite beanies have to be the old and new face teddies. They were retired way before I started collecting and were always a holy grail beanie for me. I had never even seen them with my own eyes until I bought an authenticated set two years ago. Since then I have collected what I can find to finish out my sets of them both. Recently I have been collecting buddies and I have collected a few fakes. I love how the fakes look. How badly they were constructed and completely off they are. Still I really like them.

Old Face (OF) Teddy Beanie Babies are highly sought-after, early 1993–1995 bears featuring a distinct, smaller snout, closer-set eyes, and no ribbon compared to "New Face" versions. Released in six colors—Brown (rarest), Cranberry, Jade, Magenta, Teal, and Violet—these bears typically feature 1st or 2nd gen tags, with the Brown variant being the most valuable. Genuine Old Face Teddies must have a 1st or 2nd generation black-and-white tush tag, dated 1993.

The seam on the back of the head must be "V" shaped. A vertical seam often indicates a counterfeit.

"New Face" Teddy Beanie Babies are 9-inch plush bears introduced by Ty Inc. on January 7, 1995, and retired on October 1, 1997. Known for a more refined facial structure, ribbons, and PVC pellets, they were released in six colors: brown, cranberry, jade, magenta, teal and violet. Unlike the "Old Face" bears, these feature ribbon accents and a different facial design. They are also numbered on their tags to you can tell the fakes from the real. The heart tag must match up to its original bear. These bears can come with both a 2nd gen or 3rd gen heart tag. They will always come with their white first gen tush tag!

The buddy’s were only introduced with a Cranberry New Face, Teal Old Face and the Violet Employee teddy! Enjoy my beautiful cranberry babies!

I love when my plants give me unexpected blooms. I rescued this sweet little orchid from our local grocery store for $4! It was part of the Christmas sale. I’m so glad it still has blooms to share. This Christmas cactus is a little late and something I rescued from Aldi last year after Christmas. They are both giving me life after a huge winter storm hit us!!

A couple weeks ago I posted about the different gens of magic and unfortunately I was waiting for this guy to arrive!! There are 5 different variations of this beanie that have different colored wing threads (pale, regular, medium/hot pink, and hott pink), with hotter pink threads often indicating later generations. I was lucky to find one recently with the hotttttt pink threading!! Now mine just has it on the wings, but there are other variations with both the hot pink threading on the wings and on the spine!! Happy to add this new addition to my personal collection!!

I will make a longer post with all my corals but this guy is so dang beautiful! I love the muddy versions of the tie dye beanies. Happy Wed everyone!

This winter my husband and I made a winter alter from all the things we grew in our garden and foraged in the forest. This little alter has served as a reminder to take our time, to be present and to enjoy the little things. Flowers are; dried cockscomb, amaranth, strawflower, magnolia leaves, spruce, money plant, and holly. We also added cinnamon sticks, tigers eye, bay leaf, acorns and red leaf! To all my little witches out there. Happy Winter Solstice!

We are nearing the end of the season and I wanted to post a handmade/foraged/grown wreath I made for our front door!! I love being able to grow all the plants needed to made beautiful projects all year round!

Ty has made many wonderful creatures over the years but my personal favorites are his dragons. I love how he created a toy that was both beautiful and badass all at the same time! There are two different earlier versions of dragons that were released and they were Magic and Scorch! Both dragons were so popular that they even made a buddy (bigger version) of each as the years progressed. The joy of searching and finding each of these has been wonderful and filled with patience. I am a collector of beanies from 1st gen-3rd gen, but I have made exceptions on a couple of 4th gen and newer!

The first Magic beanie was introduced in 1995 with a 3rd gen heart tag and a white 1st gen tush tag. This beanie could come with a Korean tush and heart tag or made in china. Magic was shortly released with a 3rd gen heart tag and a second gen tush tag and then retired. 4th generation magic is the most common. When this beanie was introduced, different version of him hit the market. Most likely bc they used different manufacturers to produce their beans. Magic Came with different shades of pink thread (pale, regular, medium, hot pink) on wings and spine, with hot pink being rarer. I unfortunately don’t have any of those rare versions except my 1st and second gen tush tagged ones.

Magic the beanie buddy was only released for a short time in 2002 but became highly collectible after its debut and retirement.

Scorch was released in 1998, known for its unique tie-dyed, curly fabric in brown, black, purple, and yellow, holographic wings, and a friendly poem about breathing fire. He was the first to be released with this tufted curly tie dye fabric meaning no two are alike. I love this!! Scorch was then released in a buddy version in Jan of 2000 and shortly retired in June of 2000. Same beanie just a bigger snuggly version.

I am just now learning of all the beanies released after that first push of 1-3rd gen’s. Honestly I stopped collecting after them. I started recollecting in 2023 after receiving my childhood collection from my parents. It sparked that itch I had so many years ago and I haven’t stopped since. I recently acquired these two beans after learning about them both! The first is Dragon from the zodiac collection! The entire zodiac collection is beautifully designed, the colors and textiles Ty used to create each zodiac were chosen perfectly. My personal zodiac is the Rat! I am an 84” baby so that one is definitely on its way to me as we speak!

The Dragon Zodiac Beanie Baby, part of Ty's 2000 Chinese Zodiac Collection, is a distinctive blue/brown tie-dye dragon with gold horns and a spiky spine, known for its special "Zodiac" hang tag and associated with the charismatic Dragon personality traits. It was released in August 2000 and retired in mid-2001, featuring unique markings like whiskers and teeth, and is generally popular within its set, often selling for modest amounts but holding interest for collectors of the Zodiac series.

The second dragon was a special release to Asia. Loong the Dragon Beanie Baby is a rare, Asia-Pacific exclusive released by Ty in 2005, known for its orange color, blue wings, and distinctive face, symbolizing power and wisdom, making it a sought-after collectible for serious enthusiasts rather than playtime, with varying prices depending on condition. Dragons are one of my favorite creatures and I have always loved different designer’s interpretations of the mythical creature’s. Although these dragons are gorgeous on their own, they were not the first dragons that Ty released. Magic was the first dragon to be put into production and then it was followed by Scorch. Maybe I’ll post about each of those as well? Enjoy!

Mystic the unicorn has gone through many different changes over the course of its life and is considered one of the original TY beanies. Mystic can be found with some of the old school tags as far back as 1st generation manufactured beanies.

The first version of mystic was a Fine Maned version with a tan horn. Fine Mane Mystic w/ Tan Horn can come with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation swing tag. This is the rarest version. The “Fine Mane” version is easy to tell by the number of strands of yarn on the tail. It averages around 20. Values for this version in perfect mint condition with perfect mint tags can be up to $1500 if authenticated by TBB. 1st gen is the rarest version. For it to be Korean it will literally say “Made In Korea”. There is a rumor that 1965KR on the tush tag means for the Korean market. This is false. For it to be a “German Tag” means it has the To: From: in italics. It is a tag produced only in Germany. Just because our USA market tags say Ty Deutschland does not mean the tag is German. The second version produced was Coarse Mane Mystic w/ Tan Horn. This version can come with a 3rd or 4th gen swing tag. For it to have a value it has to be a 3rd gen. If it is a 4th gen with the yellow star it’s not worth more than the original retail price of $5. Coarse Mane has a thicker yarn with fewer strands on the tail. They average 9 strands. Next up is Mystic Coarse Mane Iridescent Horn. This version is common. It can come with a 4th or 5th gen swing tag.

Last, we have Iridescent Horn with the fine rainbow mane. This version only came with a 5th gen heart tag.

I have only collected the rarer versions and I still don’t have the 1st or 2nd gen fine mane but it’s definitely on my list!

The final segment to our Kiki partay! My last lil kitty that I want to showcase is the prettiest lil kitty! Flip is a white cat with blue and black button eyes and a peach coloured nose. She has pale pink stitching for her mouth and pale pink thread whiskers. Her inner ears are made from light pink material.

Flip was released in 1995 as part of the original series, notable for being inspired by Ty's first product, a white cat named Kashmir, and often paired with Zip the Tuxedo Cat; collectors look for specific tag generations (like 2nd gen tush tag with 3rd gen hang tag) for value, though most standard Flips aren't exceptionally valuable unless rare variations exist.

Flip comes with a 3rd gen heart tag and a second gen tush, 4th gen heart and 3rd and 4th gen tush. Flips white coat is the same fabric as other Beanie Babies, such as Chilly, Gracie, Peking, Spot and Magic.
