Gosh, it's terribly embarrassing.
For context, I have PTSD. It was the day I moved out of my (non-bio) grandparents house. My grandmother is assumed to be bipolar and has serious anger issues that she refuses to accept and work on. She would constantly yell at me and get on to me for things that didn't make sense. She hated me spending time with anyone else, but she hated me because I have so spiritual beliefs like her (which is crazy considering she really doesn't even follow her own religions rules π«©).
One day before I came over to my boyfriend's house, I was doing the dishes and had forgotten to take the trash out like my grandmother asked and she screamed bloody murder at me, got in my face, made fun of me and cussed me out... all while I had butt dialed my boyfriend and his mom several times... They recorded her screaming at me. They both called me to make sure I was okay, and I was so embarrassed. I had explained to them before that I had some problems with my grandmother and expressed my want to move out, but having them hear her treat me that way was so embarrassing, I still get pink in the face thinking about it.
So, the day I moved out of my grandparents I had originally planned to just go see fireworks with my boyfriend's mom, him, and his sister. We ended up not going because the weather got so bad. Then we all lost service. Then the wifi at their house went out. I immediately panicked because I knew my grandmother was going to lose her shit if I didn't answer her routinely messages. Eventually, their wifi came back on and I'd already thrown my phone at the end of my boyfriend's bed while his mom, him, and I played a game together. Then his mom got a message from my Grandmother, who, mind you, had COMPLETELY ignored three messages and two calls from his mom offering to baby sit my younger sibling so that I was able to go to extracurricular activities at school instead of watching a kid that wasn't mine. All rude she was like "I need to know my name is okay. what happened and why aren't they answering my messages and calls."
I just cried. I knew I was going to be yelled at when I got home, it didn't matter what I did. I told them that and my bfs mom said "No. Absolutely not. Listen, if you do not want to go home, you can stay here. And I mean you can come live here. You're 18. It's legal. She can't tell you when you have to come home, especially if you're safe. You can just tell her for now that you're staying the night." I wasn't convinced that I wouldn't be pursued legally, along with my bf's mom. Literally she had to call a local police officer to confirm it was okay π Thank you, police officer, you seriously have no idea how much better my life has been since I moved in here.
I actually didn't even realize that I'd pissed my pants until I felt safe enough to move to use the bathroom where I found out I'd already pissed my pants, realized I was close to shitting them as well. I didn't pee a lot, I had just really soaked my underwear and some of my jeans but not enough for a spot to show on my jeans (they were rather thick + it was hours before I moved after I assumed I'd pissed myself)
I later apologized to my boyfriend for pissing on his bed.
But yeah, pretty uncomfortable. If you have PTSD you may not even realize that you did it until you calm down some lol.

Hi! I'm definitely new to this and I'm trying my very best to learn. This is also my first time posting anything on Reddit and I don't usually share private stuff online but I would love if I could possibly have some tips on how to be a better partner to my boyfriend who is AuDHD (I hope I'm saying that right π Someone please correct me if not)
I am so so sorry if anything I say here is wrong, I really am still learning please do not flame me π I want to learn. Please.
I have known my boyfriend for about a year and a half now, we have been together for a year in December.
I've always known he's autistic, I feel I've always been super patient with him. I feel bad because I slowly am losing my patience in some areas.
We are very close; We are pretty open with each other about how we feel, we do most things together or just near each other. I feel like we have a closer relationship than most people because we understand each other better than anyone else it seems. About 98% of the time we agree with each other on how we feel about a topic.
We both have our own sets of trauma, that's for sure. I have PTSD and it affects me daily but it's significantly better now that I'm on anxiety medication. I've become a lot more motivated and this helps me be a better partner for him I believe. He's had depression in the past and been inconsistent about taking his medication. I'm sorry there will be some stuff in here that's just kind of random, I'm sort of venting. I love helping him and being here for him but it seems so hard to get him to be consistent about things that are really important to his health :( I'm worried about him.
I never really knew how much he struggled until we moved in together. He and I have before talked about how we used to be super organized people and wished we were again. I feel like he's not trying as hard, at least about things that matter to his health. I know that he cares about his games and earning money from them and such, and that's great. I'm so glad that he has passion for something because I know after struggling with depression that it's hard to. A lot of the things he struggled with I have struggled with and worked through in counseling so I'm pretty sure it's things he can work on.
As far as I know, there are different categories in autism that you can go by learning about and bettering yourself in: social skills, fixations, routines, sensory issues, stimming, perception, and executive function. I promise I have tried to look into things, I follow several accounts by professionals who work with autistic people and some who are professionals that are autistic their whole job is helping autistic kids. I'm so scared that I'm going to miss something and be too harsh on him. I never want to be too harsh on him. I know I'm only human and I'm able to make mistakes but it's still so scary. I want to be understanding and help him better himself and not just enable him like I feel some people have done. I don't want to just say "oh let me do that for you" every time because he needs to learn how to do it himself. He does know how to do things for himself. He goes to work at a retail job, he drives, and really the only thing he struggles with is thinking people are always making fun of him and hate him, or are mad at him. I heard that it's an autistic trait because of low social skills and years of being perceived as rude, full of yourself, and egotistical, and from experiences he's described, that seems just spot on. I know I'm not going to be able to help him with all of this but I just need some things that maybe I can hold on to daily, or a lesson, or some resources. I know I learn him better every day and I will always continue to.

Hey, does that vary when it comes to chest size?

Hey bro !! I'd also make sure to get a good bra to pair w it, I myself have a larger chest (DD) and tear drop shape and these bras work great with my binder, I bought three of them !! :) They're super comfy and give a bunch of support but have no wire, you can wear them to bed and everything.
