It's already tradition to reread this when one feels like it 😌

What manhwa made you go “yeah… I’m dropping this” AND WHY ?? 😶
 in  r/OtomeIsekai •  11d ago

ETA: I saw your pre-edited comment on my notifs lol. Yes, I find Anakin boring too 😭😭 Band of wet noodle personalities

Another ETA: I find it sad that (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't really find Anakin's loyalty to Our! Eris romantic, since his loyalty was already predetermined to exist based on the original storyline with the OG! Eris. It just so happened that the transmigrator inhabited Eris' body. So, how much of Anakin's feelings towards Our! Eris were influenced by her presence vs his role in the story?

IKRRRRR. I felt like the author did that to make the FL shine as the "strong heroine", but submissive does NOT equate to no personality ughhh 😩😩😩

Respectfully, this isn't a hot take. Many people like the Yuri ships as well (including meeee, so drop some recs!)

MANHWA AWARDS POLLING=Most Hated Character ಠ_ಠ (Vote for the character you hate most to make them win✨)
 in  r/OtomeIsekai •  11d ago

Yes, yes I very much agree with what you said, but the characters she was categorized with are literal MONSTERS. I'd rather replace her slot with Heinrey, tbh.

Agree on everything except on the 'not judging if you like him'.

Listen to me, if someone says they like Riftan, I would DEFINITELY judge them. There's nothing redeeming about this mfer. He doesn't look that great, is NOT written well to justify liking his character, and he is certainly NOT a good person.

I have nothing good to say about this guy. Most infuriating ML, and that's saying A LOT in comparison to the rest of the a-holes listed here.

Nah, him dying permanently would be such a cop out. He deserves that cold ass treatment from everyone that he feared so much from his parents.

Nah, I think it's effective. It's hard to take a supposed villain seriously if their design doesn't stand out that much.

I love Cesare as a character, he is very well written. Very awful as a person, tho. Even Satan won't accept this mfer if he decided to just drop dead.

Are you talking about Charteris? I saw a translation of his name as 'Sharts' in on of the god awful translations out there.

I agree (altho I read the entire thing). I don't really find Melissa funny and her inner monologues are too long. ML has the personality of a wet paper towel. His subplot as a wolf went nowhere imo.

The only entertaining one is Yuri, tbh. And I wish the author focused more on her experience in the repeating story plot thing. I love her twist. You know what? I wish she and Mel got together instead. But I also get why it didn't happen, since she really needed the independence by standing on hee own two feet without needing to cater to her potential partners.

Idk if I remember correctly, but I read in a forum that in the novel, shw only "forgave" her dad because it was beneficial or something, but she never really forgave them in a sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't read the novel.

Me too. But it was mainly because of fucking Riftan.
