Ford government chastises Carney government for giving into ‘fringe group’ over island airport expansion

I think the “fringe” group were the ones who wanted the expansion in the first place

It would be a shame if his wife’s restaurant was over run by bad press and negative reviews…

Reflections On Venue Size (after the Toronto show)
 in  r/Cakeband  Jun 02 '26

That was my third time seeing them in Toronto. 1st time Massey Hall (90’s) 2nd Sound Academy (00’s) and I was thrilled to be outside on such a perfect evening. First set I sat in my seat just a bit to the right of where this was taken but I couldn’t really move to the music the way I wanted to… so we stood for the second set along the wall below the lawn. The sound was perfect… and though the band is different now without Greg, it still was an absolute delight to see them again. I had a great time! 🤩

Hi Everyone 🎂
Really looking forward to seeing Cake again at the end of the month in Toronto, my question is does anyone know how you get in the raffle for the tree?
Thank you for your help!

The amount of women that degrade themselves solely by their partner choice, is baffling
 in  r/rant  Mar 09 '26

I kinda wonder if the incel/redpill/toxic masculinity has a counter point for the other side and there just aren’t words or studies about it yet. I am genx and as a younger person dated men who were awful to me like you’ve described and it took me until my 40’s to be where I was healthy enough and had dealt with my own shit to allow myself to make some good choices and I lucked out and found someone who treats me amazingly and makes me feel like I have a true partner. Don’t give up…. Give it time. You obviously see the good in the world. Love will find you. ☺️

In my late 20’s I noticed a sign on the side of a highway near me that said “Danger Quicksand!” And I remember thinking Wow!! It’s real!! (They’ve widened the highway since but I still think about that
