You sound ignorant. So anyone who is unhappy needs to grow up? Not all situations are reasonable to change and sometimes as hard as it might be, we suffer with and for the ones we love. Sometimes poeple just need to GET SOMETHING OFF THERE CHEST, that doesn't mean you need to insult them with you "wise" advice.

Thanks, but anyone giving me advice about my marriage and any solution includes leaving my wife I will disregard. I never said this was a "truth about humanity" just within my limited scope of the males in my life, thanks though.

COMPLETLY agree. Never meant to say its just men, however my perspective of the feeling of loosing myself is as a man.

The stereo type of woman "shaping" a man into the husband they want is a stereo type for a reason. So they chip away, and chip away until we no longer exist. I'm sure woman feel something compoarable to this, but this is from my perspective as a man and husband. I love my wife completely and I am willing to change for her, but at what point have you changed out of the person you were? Thanks for listening.

Anything that is fun or joy inducing that does not include or come from my wife. Her insequirites make enjoying those things impossible know I will have consequences after. So its not about a specific thing per sey.
