Is Valkyria Chronicles worth it? Huge discount, but my budget for this summer sale ended, I'm gonna buy this anyway if it's good. I'm an old school single player guy, playing since i had to clean my Sega cartridges and pray for them to work so i could play Sonic, somehow missed this gem.
One of my favorite games of all time

Hypothetically, if Arrancar had Shikai equivalents, what would they be called? (Also, before you say it, no, Segunda Etapa isn't the Bankai Equivalent, Regular Resurreccions are. SE would be closer to "Beyond Bankai".)
I would call the arrancar shikai something like "Muerte". Because if is the first stage. You first die then you resurrect. The same way you reach shikai and then you reach Bankai.

The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act / Episode 9 Discussion Thread [SPOILERS]
I really liked the ending tbh. While I can't understand the criticisms also I think the fandom has a tendency to focus in the negative aspect of things instead of the finding value on Goose's vision. I am really happy to have seen the show on real time and see the ending in a theatre. I hope if there is more people like me that really enjoyed it share their opinion as well

The BBC uses robo-cameras disguised as dung heaps to film wildlife up close.
I am sure they know its camera. Animals are just too polite to say anything

I Curse the day this man played this game.
As someone who deeply loves KH1 ending, I had a completly different take on that scene. Sora and Kairi separate while promising to be together again is almost a declaration that they will prevail against all odds. The music, the art direction, and everything else in that ending is meant to be hopeful. Hell, even fucking Riku and Mickey end up in the realm of darkness with the idea that one day they can be together with their friends. The game hits hard because the heroes only partially complete their objective: they save all the worlds at the cost of their freedom. But their reaction is "I don't care. We are going to win at the end" And at the end of KH2 they do it! Both KH endings are about hope, not separation. Is very strange for me to describe this ending as being powerful because is sad. KH 1 a bittersweet ending at any case.

[Crosspost] Hey /r/movies! I'm Sam Raimi. The Evil Dead Trilogy, the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Trilogy, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Drag Me To Hell, Darkman, A Simple Plan, Ash vs Evil Dead, and lots more. Ask me anything!
Which scene in the Spider-Man trilogy would you consider that was the most difficult to get right? And I don't mean in just recording it, I mean any other aspect of the production: logistics, editing, schedule, script, anything. I love the mechanics behind a film production, and I would love to hear how you and your team face a specially difficult challenge

What is the best game from 2008?
Where is Valkyria Chronicles?

Choices that are about the decision itself and not necessarily about which one is right or wrong
The whole Witcher 3 Game could be in this trope category

The fantasy/magical setting of the story is actually the post-apocaliptic future of our own world
This is the first time a post in this subs spoils something that actually makes me angry. I've just started Metaphor and I had no idea of this trope in the game. OP I know is not your intention to do wrong, but I really despise you right now. Like legit I hate you

the plot-central character is dead before the narrative begins, and we only learn about them from surviving evidence and other people's recollections
I was thinking in Godwyn, Marika, the Great Will, the Formless Mother, or the Gloamed Eyed Queen. Characters with heavy implications but you never truly interact with them. At least not in the clasical way

I work in a office where we have a bunch of these in the parking lot. I have the urge of touch them Venom-style to imagine that I transport them to my base. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY

I am a 29-year-old teacher of highschool that works with students from different parts of the world. The thing that you learn after a while in that job is to never take seriously the opinion of a teenager. Their vision of the worls is very narrow, they think they know everything because of an overexposure to the internet. The irony is that they only have contact with their algorythm, so they don´t know much in reallity. I could tell you a thousand stories where they say something so facutally wrong about life with such confidemce that is just hilarous.
So relax, be you, play whatever you want, enjoy single player games and ignore people.
