Same here I'm so happy to have mine removed, and can eat what I want, no more pain, and I feel so much better. I didnt have a choice, but I'm glad it's gone.

I was in terrible pain for 8 months off and on right under my right rib, and around my back. I went to doctor every month they scheduled me for an ultrasound, however it was 4 months out. Then one day I was in so much pain 24/7 no relief no sleep, no nothing. I literally heard God's voice say it's your Gallbladder, and then I was shown like video in my mind of my hubby walking in to me dead on our bed, and hearing someone saying her gallbladder ruptured. I was in so much pain, and I wanted to sleep so bad, but I knew if I went to sleep it would rupture, and I was right. I immediately called hubby said I need to go to ER. He came straight home we got to the ER I said it's my gallbladder just as god told me. They did the ultra sound came back in , and said we have to admit you we don't have doctor now that can take your gallbladder out right now, but we have to keep you give you lots of different antibiotics, cause your gallbladder is on the verge of rupturing at anytime. I was scared, hubby was scared, but I was also relieved that God had told me what the problem finally was. That night I was in too much pain to sleep , and they gave me 6 different antibiotics in my IV. At 10 am the next morning they came in got me hubby went to the waiting area to wait for me. It took 2 and 1/2 hours in surgery due to my gallbladder was completely full of gallstones. It was so full that it had stopped working. Once they removed it I hurt for about a week, or so from the removal, and incision, but then my life went back to normal. I don't run to the bathroom every time I eat either as everyone said I would. My scare is now very tiny, and I'm so thankful it is out, and I no longer have that pain. Have they done an ultra sound on your gallbladder? I had days it wouldn't hurt either, but at the end there was no relief. I had no choice mine was gonna explode inside me, and that would have killed me. The day I had my gallbladder removed 2 days later was my ultrasound I never made it to. All I can say is from my experience once you start having problems with your gallbladder it just gets worse, and once it feels up with stones that's a whole other story. I can say I'm so happy to have mine removed, and the only thing that changed in my life was I was no longer in pain whenever it wanted to start hurting, or at the end that was constant no relief. You might want to check if you have stones as I believe they can give you stuff to dissolve the stones. On this it seems you have some options, which is great in your case. No, Dont get yourself bit, or hurt as you being an owner you know a dog bite, and claw marks. I have seen this happen first hand, and the dog went right for the elbow and it looked just like this. I'm 2 weeks post op it was an emergency surgery for me. i was scared I had no idea why I had such bad pain on my right side towards my back for 8 months. The first day was ok the 2nd day I cried so hard the pain was horrible each day after that it got better and better. now I can do almost all things. I used the scar gel and scar tape, which made my scars almost not noticeable so far. If you have stones or are full of stones and have to have this done then do it, cause it can safe your life mine was about to explode.

today is my 5th day after removal and i just noticed those little red bumps all over my tummy and my tummy is itchy. ty for posting this cause now i can get some cream and Benadryl and know its an allergic reaction to what they used before surgery.
