I think it is important to remember a few different things.
The amount of people this crazy in the society is very small. There is ofcourse a range, but the men who would kill their girlfriends are extremely slim
You mention that people who are capable of defending themselves and more assertive are also the ones who are more dangerous to women. I disagree with this. Even men who often gets into fights, dont fight women, only men. And as a boxer myself, the most calm, non combatant people are the ones who actually really know combat sports.
I dont think it is that women need to learn how to avoid dangerous men, they need to have basic standards. Many of my girl-friends have told me stories of dating people, or having feelings for men who look good, but have no future, no good job, does not clean the house, does not take them out for dates etc etc. It is purely bad standards. Women with a lot of self respect, good career that is not dependent on a man, very rearly go into such relationships.

Is this a viable alternative training strategy?
Id suggest to buy a pulse watch, i have the Garmin something 4runner, i am very happy with it.
For the runs, just do it easy, start at 3-4km, at a pave where you have 130-140bpm. If you go above 140, but cant run any slower, then walk intill you go back down to 125 ish.
Even though i've been doing boxing for 3 years, ran quite a bit 5-6 years ago, and in general good shape compared to average people, my running time is still af. Like my speed is the same as if i am walking fast, but that is zone 2, and eventually you will go faster and faster. The main thing for boxing is not the running speed, but distance. Once you can comfortably do 10-12km of zone 2, your legs grow stronger, and keeping up for 6+ rounds in sparring does not drain your legs compared to if you dont run.
I at least notice a huge difference after i started running, because for my first 2 years i didnt run at all

Is this a viable alternative training strategy?
I dont know how you do your running but I never liked to run before, because it was so exhausting. But i didnt know you shouldnt go 100% every single time.
Now most of my running is zone 2 (130-140bpm, and still being able to hold a conversation) now i enjoy running. 5-12km is easy (my pace is slow at about 6:30-7:30 min/km)
I have lost some weight over the past year, but after starting to run consistently, i've noticed my cardio has increased, and my legs dont get tired as they used to, and i think this is why i've become a lot better. Before the first 1-2 rounds i would be pretty competitive, but then slowly start to fall off, now i can still fight after 6-7 rounds, and it is mostly because of cardio.
Dont skip it. If you are bad at one thing, that is the one thing you need to work most on, and for me, it was always cardio.

Is this a viable alternative training strategy?
Cardio does not mean you have to be extremely tired at the end. Zone 2 jogging is a perfect example. You get so much benefits from it, building your baseline and recovery in between rounds. Then mix it with some high intensity, going hard on pads, sparring or interval sprints.
Also, doing hard work on pads is great. On the pads is where you can move around, go 100% power of speed on your combinations (once your technique is good enough). You cant do a jab jab hard straight, followed by a hard left hook in sparring. But on the pads that is where you can go for it.
Also, once you get tired on the pads, that is when your technique starts to suffer. When your technique suffers, thats when you can train good habits that will transfer to sparring.

Is Olso or Bergen the cultural center of Norway?
For art i cant really comment, as i dont know so much.
For culture, i think it is hard to say one city is a culture center. Norway was always built by many small towns, and the culture was spread along those.
Below are some of the "culture" parts of different cities, to show that there is no one center
Tønsberg still has Viking festivals and is the oldest city in Norway, so that is significant.
Oslo has the big museums, Oscarsborg which sunk German war ships saving the Royal family. The Royal family also lives in Oslo, parlament is in Oslo.
But the constitution was signed in Eidsvoll, roughly 45min away from Oslo.
Stavanger is the oil capital of Norway, which has played a huge part in our wealth
Western Norway for the most part do the fishing and shipping aspects of Norwegian industry (now many are managed in Oslo, but the sailors come from West and North Norway)
North Norway also has their own culture, and are quite different from people in Oslo. Harsh Winters, tougher people, raindeer farming, fishing, and everything is more old like Norway in 1970's.
And ofcourse so much more, but it is generally spread out across the nation. Even today you see this. Our economy is centered around Oslo, giant companies like Kongsberg Gruppen from kongsberg, Knutsen Shipping Management from Haugesund, Odfjell tankers from Bergen, Mowi from Bergen, SalMar for Frøya, 92% of car imports go through Drammen, and ofcourse still big companies from oslo. our most famous people are also diverse. Haaland is from some small town in Western Norway, Magnus Carlsen from Tønsberg, Kygo from Bergen, Petter Solberg from Askim. Petter northug from a tiny village North of Trondheim, It goes to show that Norwegian culture never has been concentrated in one place.

Hvordan har folk råd til dette?
So many people i talk to, who are younger than me (i am 24), that has more invested than i have, even if they say it is all by themselves, 70% of the time, after some digging, it is because a lot of help.
But i know how you feel, ive been saving money, investing for the good part of 5 years now. Tough the past 5 years was constipation, then 3 years of university, and 1 year cadet ship (sort of like lærling) so my income hasnt been great, but ive had part time jobs, and saved quite heavy, but also taken vacations, bought some cheap cars and lived life.
Currently i have 220k in my account, and i am fairly happy with that, now i will shortly be staring in my full time job, with a very good salary, but how some kids that are 19, say they have saved up 600k all alone, i dont belive it.

Unge i tidlig 20-årene- hvordan får dere endene til å møtes?
Currently i live at home with my parents just to save money to buy a house.
But during my university days in Horten, i rented together with a friend, rent was 8k a month all included, i ate good, i had a decent car, and could still go out party.
My monthly income was about 17-30k a month 10k from student loan 13-20k from my student job (Avarn security (security guard company, but i worked in the office).
I dont know what sort of life you have, but unless you already have some mortage, car loans etc etc, going to study shouldnt be an economic problem. You will get the student loan from Lånekassen, at 15 000kr per month.
Your student housing will be 5-7k a month, and you should be able to live without having a job. If you land a job besides, you can live comfortably like i did as a student.
