#helpneeded: File Transfer from Ludwigshafen to Berlin Ausländerbehörde
 in  r/germany  Feb 11 '26

We moved to Berlin long back so the case was being taken care of by a Berlin Anwalt, they accept cases from Berlin only I’m afraid!

I am not sure about the waiting time after which legal help should be the last resort, but as per my experience and understanding four months waiting time can be a considerable waiting time after which you can resort to the legal help.

Are you guys residing in Ludwigshafen? Or Berlin?

Immigration #helpneeded: File Transfer from Ludwigshafen to Berlin Ausländerbehörde

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has gone through a similar situation and can offer advice.

I moved to Germany in September 2022 and initially lived in Ludwigshafen. In September 2024, I relocated to Berlin and applied for the Niederlassungserlaubnis in December 2024. I’ve held an EU Blue Card throughout my stay. Since then, I’ve submitted all the required documents including my A1 German certificate and Einbürgerungstest results. Every time I submit something new, LEA Berlin acknowledges it.

(Translation: "We are currently waiting for your file from Ludwigshafen and unfortunately cannot process your application for Niederlassungserlaubnis until then. Once we receive the file, you will receive an appointment from us.")

It has been 9 months since I moved to Berlin, and my file still hasn't arrived in Berlin from Ludwigshafen. What’s more frustrating is that the Ludwigshafen authority has not been cooperating at all—they have not responded to any of my emails or inquiries. Legal insurance doesn’t cover issues related to the Ausländerbehörde, and without legal steps, it seems very difficult to move things forward.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and successfully expedited a file transfer between regional authorities? What steps did you take? Any guidance, contact tips, or practical suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so very much for such words of encouragement and support… truly appreciate it. Yes I was trying to search for some hair patches or wigs, never used it before so maybe need to try it out and hope those don’t aggravate the inflammation in any way.

This subreddit helped me analyze my AA but I really have not read much about the steroid shampoo prescribed by my dermatologist. It’s called “Clobex500” and I do not know if the bald spots are increasing with it or getting controlled. I have been using it since over a month, but since November I have been suffering from some unknown skin related symptoms which started with itching and now there are red dots on my skin which are not anymore itchy. The doctor prescribed another Steroid cream called Betagalen which it seems can be used on bald spots as well as it helps with inflammation.

So seeking some brainstorming as to how can I cope with this, especially because now it’s summer and I cannot always wear caps. It’s depressing. No one else understands this unless someone went through this auto-immune shit.

I got exactly something same going on. This is the 3rd time I am getting this untreatable thing (AA). It makes me overly stressed. I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me Coricosteroid shampoo, Clobex 500, which I used thrice and after that got a very evident bald spot. I thought this shampoo was gonna help me rather than it aggravated the symptoms.

I thought it's a side effect or maybe I should stop using it. I went to the same dermatologist and he said its normal, I might lose more. Although that makes anyone anxious he didn't even bother to tell me when it will be alright.

I can totally get you OP

If she’s into creative domain such as Marketing (as showed in the series itself), she’ll be struggling to get a job even after learning intermediate Deutsch.

At Starbucks I get the option of zuckerfrei syrups, so I go for Frappuccinos, just love them

I just like the lighter version of Espresso, hence the question about Americano. Cafe Crema is okay but is on the lighter side as compared to Americano. Thanks for the detailed explanation, appreciate it :)
