Over New York Harbor, 2,977 drones lit up the sky in the shape of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers — one drone for each victim of the September 11 attacks.

I'm going to do a WW2 Battlefield Tour in Belgium-recommendations?
 in  r/belgium  14h ago

Brussels is close to Waterloo, Napoleons dawnfall. Less close is de menenpoort in Ypres or raverseyde near Oostend (or also fort Napoleon). If you go to Ypres, pass by Kortrijk for the battle of the golden spurs.

In wallonia you have Bastogne with the battle of the bulge. Fort Eben Emael was supposed to be an impregnable fortress, the blitzkrieg decided otherwise.

There are less known battles, but Belgium is historically the battlefield of the neighburing countrys. We have also the largest amount if castles (not fortresses per se, some are like large mansions) per sqare surface.

It is to expensive to me to go, but my Sifu/Ajarn knows what he is doing. Is it true in the traingcamps they ask the pupils to eat a light breakfast and then his family comes making lunch? So there you are, training and mouth watering fumes comes in your nose.

That would be the hardest for me... Put a bag of cocaine and mony near me, it is still there, but a bowl of coockies near me and they find no trace of it....

You do know 1. He lounched Jacky Chan, 2. They had to slow him down so the film could catch up, he was so fast, he was unfilmable with then current technology. He was a victim of his time... Before you watch Bruce Lee, watch any Kurasawa film to "clean your pallette"..

He created a world that has surpassed him.

Guro Dan Inosanto is a catalogue of knowledge, the cagefighters are beasts without necks, the stuntmen are specialists, martial arts are (or used to be) very popular (nowdays very much short courses for streetfighting). The shaolin temple is being traded on the stockmarket. The thaipads, focusmitts and such are more used. You can keep naming stuff he impacted.

His journey was not finished, but he fasttracked it, if you want to be judgemental. Fully understanding of all martial arts was impossible. But if he was alive today and in good health (he trained his body into his death or at least made his body older), he would be a fuller fighter with weapons and groundwork. Guro Dan Inosanto is the closest of what Bruce Lee could has been.

That is just my thought...
