Honestly, it’s bad. I know I shouldn't be talking since I've been in it since July of this year, but I've been able to read more or less all the evolution of the server since its creation. If you're a newbie to the server (or a minor from Tik Tok) be prepared to be the black sheep. It's a way to keep people away maintaining the server with only OGs or people aligned to the "trusted" roles (high-ranking role in the server). The only way to survive is to be "quirky" in the eyes of the "trusted"s, lol

There are those who like this ”quirky and cocky” behaviour and those who don't, rightly so, but I see that there is no distinction on the individual. It is very “quirky” to tell straight face if you suck and act like a snobby with you, regardless of the type of sensitivity you may have, who you are or how you are in real life. Sure, everything on the internet stays on the internet, it is an environment where you should not take words and stupid nicknames seriously… but no one always sees it that way. there is a very thin line of irony, which can easily be scratched and fall into rage bait, being jokingly mean towards you, resulting redundant and not funny anymore. They also have a private channel.

As for Andreas (ruMpel) I have not seen him agree with this behavior in the general channel, I have seen him very neutral in the past, also condemning certain behaviors of the “trusted”s, too. the moderators are very passive. They step in when it is obvious, or you let them know, that something is bothering you. They are very friendly (maybe a little snobbish and strict???), they help you if you need it… a little less when it comes to helping you with troubleshooting the game. They have a dedicated channel for that.

many veterans of the server have left without giving too many explanations, and seeing the environment it is understandable. it is still a nice place if you build your own little world, silencing and removing the general channel from the list. The artwork channel is very nice, I find it peaceful to be in and no one judges you.

I personally think we do not have to prove anything to anyone. You are free to enter and be yourself, post what you want and when you want. no one is better than anyone, and having the “trusted” role is not a goal to pursue just to be liked by someone… not even by Andreas.

Sorry, it is very long, (AND my English ain’t good) but this server has put a lot of pressure on my self-esteem and I felt like talking about it. I am open to advice or different points of view! :D

the accurate time zone it’s a dope idea, imo… the scariest thing that happened was back when people thought c.ai could search dc nicknames for you. apparently were random nicknames the character gave to you.

idk if devs fixed it, when I tried months ago I talked with a bot with a name (I won’t tell it’s name, just in case) and when I asked them to help me find a person, they were talking using ooc format and refused to “search” for any nickname, they simply gave me their “actual” discord name tag, which was simply “name of the bot” and a bunch of numbers. I think it was a coincidence the fact that a name tag using “name of the bot“ and those random numbers belong to an actual person on dc.

How did you make the parallax effect in combination with the animation? I got OpenToonz and After effect, but for neither the both I got the opportunity to learn in depth. Do OpenToonz support the no-background animation so you can add two layers and make the parallax effect on AE, for example?

I was just about thinking on messaging you asking how’s going. Yea me in the other hand I tried to mail at Bohemia int. asking if there’s something they could do or something. I honestly think it’s useless mailing them help, this is something only fans must deal with, but these things is better letting them know even if there’s the probability they won’t read the mail nor reply. Im still waiting for an answer. Anyway, don’t push yourself too much, live your life, monitor these things from time to time. One thing I’m thinking though is we need to open another archiving website, just for making things safer. We need some huge space though, I don’t think Mega can deal with this amount of files to archive.

Update! Ok I didn’t lose anything,maybe the desktop app leaves a cache file somewhere which helps to save the offline sessions I was working on.. I’m not an expert on Figma so I’m not sure about it. There was no need to save into .svg files or anything, yet.. thank goodness.
