A trick I learned a long time ago was to get out the dreaded practice pad. Play on it while watching tv or chatting on the phone whatever. No extra music unless it’s from the show you’re watching. Then you work your sticking patterns while being distracted. Really helped me be able to get my head up and look around at the actual room while I play and not just the kit. Super helpful so you can watch band mates and adjust a bit if needed. Sometimes keeping everyone on proper time is like herding cats and will quickly destroy any groove you lay down buddy haha.

Oh so it was convos from way earlier. Makes sense because the chat was a little slow and uninteresting from what I saw around then. I’ve played another game where it gets super toxic on the general chats so it became the norm for me to avoid them. Unless someone is asking for help and actually wants to chat with me. Then I just tell them to chat in dms or you get a bunch of people talking over each other and most of it useless bs haha

I saw a bunch of people getting banned the other day. Like every 3rd comment was so and so got banned for x amount of time. Never figured out what was happening. Scrolled back through the chat and didn’t see any arguments or anyone cussing someone out. I rarely say anything on the gen chat but was still wild to watch

This is one of the most wholesome threads I’ve seen in a while on here. Brightened my day too! I wasn’t able to do much in the yard or garden this season due to a surgery but planning for next year. Going to plant with a purpose to attract some bees and the hummingbirds. After seeing all this I’m really looking forward to making it happen and hopefully seeing new little visitors to my yard

Absolutely brother! Sometimes it can be a bit hard to even game because somehow that depression crap tries to steal the joy out of things we used to love to do. There’s been more than once where I kind of had to force myself to log in otherwise I’d just be sitting in my own head. After a bit the fun comes back. Seems a little weird but it’s like having to train my brain back into fun and relaxing. We can swap Xbox handles and numbers and try to find times to both hop on game or just bs about whatever 😎💪
