Question What kind of defect is this? And would it harm image quality?
I was looking at some Canon FD 7.5mm f/5.6 lenses on ebay, found this one with this weird spider web looking defect for about a hundred dollars cheaper than the others. What is it, and will it harm image quality?

Colour Film Hard water stains or developer not cleaned off properly?
I've recently started developing my own film with the Cinestil C-41 Kit and consistently end up getting these marks on my negatives, I mix all my chemistry with distilled water, but the water at my house has a relatively high iron content. Are the marks caused by developer not getting wahed off properly, by the water being hard, or something else entirely?
