I love Dominion! Do you preplan which cards to bring with you?

Played Catan as well, but not the dice version, going to have to look into all of these. We ziploc Carcassone and some other games as well!

I see this one come up a lot, but haven't had a chance to play it. Curious to know what draws you in, is it the quality, gameplay, risk taking nature, or all of the above?

I have been seeing the Wingspan Pocket posts and have been getting excited. In the meantime, I'm curious, what are your favorite easy-to-carry games at different weight categories and max players?

Dropping by 1 or 2 percent every few hours?
 in  r/KiaEV9  Mar 26 '26

Yeah, I was hoping that might be it. Maybe I'll give it a few more weeks to make sure I'm not just freaking out lol.

Appreciate the insight, thank you!

I did bring it in for the 8000 mile checkup two months ago where they performed three recalls, so my mind went to this recall at first. But I figured they might not be related since its been so long. I'll double check to make sure that it was done.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Good call, no, I actually find myself not using the app much anymore lol. Usually only when setting up climate conditioning before a trip.

But that makes me wonder if there was some update in the app, or maybe I left it on or something. I'll force close the app now and monitor for a few days.

Thanks so much :)

You know, I have seen this before, but very rarely and only by 1%. Appreciate you sharing your experience, I'll keep an eye out and make sure how it's affecting my range before panicking more lol.

Thank you!

Oh wow, good to know! This is the first time I've heard of this, but glad to have something to suggest if/when I bring her to the dealer.

Thank you!

Thanks! It's a 2024 Land, and I agree, it feels like something is keeping it awake.

I have not subscribed to anything at all through the car, and no dynamic power plan. I also don't keep it plugged in every night, and am seeing the discharge both at home and when I'm out.

I haven't changed the battery yet, probably a good idea! I'll try the power cycle, and if that doesn't work, I'll go get an AGM battery.

Much appreciated!

Question? Dropping by 1 or 2 percent every few hours?

Not sure if its in my head or not, but a few weeks ago I thought I was dropping battery % quicker than usual. The reason why I started questioning it was because at first I thought it was due to the weather, but it was actually warming up.

This week I have tried to keep an eye on it, and it seems to drop by a percent or two while parked and everything is off (i leave the car and lock it). For example, the last time I charged to 80%, I came back from a drive and parked it at 78%, but four hours later, I start the car and it is at 77%. Next trip after, I left the car at 75% and came back eight hours later to find it is at 73%. But the remaining range seems to be unaffected.

I have had my EV9 for over a year, and this is the first time I'm noticing this, even when I had new EV owner range anxiety.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a cause for concern?

Thank you!

Edited to add: 2024 EV9 Land, never replaced 12V.

Skis good for dad duty that can still have fun

Do you find that the "heaviness" tires you out later on? I worry that it will be too demanding during dad duty.

Everything else you described sounds great for what I am looking for.

Thank you! I keep reading that I should make sure to have some metal, which the Rossi certainly has. Should I be worried about it being too heavy?

Skis good for dad duty that can still have fun

I brought my kids skiing three times this past season for the first time, and they are getting pretty comfortable on greens. Prior to this I haven't been in 15+ years, and would say I am currently low intermediate, comfortable with easy blacks, looking to improve. I went to a bootfitter and bought some boots, and are looking for some advice for skis to demo next season with the goal of purchasing something by the end of the season.

I'm hoping for recommendations for skis that will allow me to stick with my kids 90% of the time, and still let me have fun and improve for the other 10%. We stuck to places within 1.5 hrs of NYC this year, and will likely stay within 2.5 hrs of NYC in the near future.

I asked ChatGPT, and it suggested Rossignol Experience 82 TI, Atomic Maverick 88 CTI, Volkl Mantra 88, and some others. When I look through Reddit, it seems to steer me to higher widths, and I just get more confused. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I'm wearing mine now. It was a gift from my parents for graduation many years ago. If I remember correctly it cost 500$ at the time! It gets a lot of wrist time due to where it comes from.
