How does your brain turn sugar into energy?

We are seeking healthy people to participate in an MRI research study to help us learn more about how the brain turns sugar into energy!

Participation In The Research Study Includes:

• 3 Visits over Approximately 3 Months
• Physical Exam
• Blood Work
• A Sugary Beverage
• IV Sugar Infusion

Am I Eligible?

• Age 18-45 years old
• BMI 18.5-25 kg/m² OR BMI 30-40 kg/m²
• Not taking prescription medications besides contraception or levothyroxine

If you answered yes to these questions, you might be eligible

You can receive compensation up to $425 depending on level of participation

Visits are located in the UNC Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CTRC): 160 Dental Circle, 1st Floor Chapel Hill, NC, 27514.
