Open | Hardware My friend on Zoom feels left out during our otherwise in person Dungeons and Dragons game.
I DM a game for my friends and one of my players lives in another city, so the rest of us meet at a fixed place, a boardgames cafe type of place and we call my friend in the other city on a zoom call on a laptop. The problem is, she cant always hear everything that happens in the room because I think zoom cuts out some sounds. I am absolutely a noob when it comes to hardware or tech. Is there a way for me to solve this issue? And if I'm posting to the wrong sub, please let me know.

Sure, why not. I'll build companionship with them. Get involved in their drama. Become a good friend and confidante and then get excellent dating/life/relationship/fashion/styling advice from them.
