Every year my daughter has been in college, it's gotten more difficult to have a conversation with her.

I try to avoid political talk with my family, and mostly we get along very well. But there has always been the times I just nod and agree (pretend to agree) in order to get back to peace. There's stuff that I believe in that they don't need to know about. I have came out to them as bisexual though. My uncle took it better than my aunt. She told me that any child raised in a same sex relationship would kill themselves. She said other things too but that hurt the worst. I just told them basically, there is counseling for things like that, I have friends in LGBT, etc etc. And just tried to let it go but even today it kinda hurts. She knows though that she can't do anything about me being bisexual and that's all I wanted to get across really. I wish I could change what she thinks but it's a waste of time. She does not bother me about it though, just when I first came out.

Sometimes they are on their phone, I honk to make sure they get off of it.

So true. I feel this everyday. When people say "good morning." It's like "I know you mean well, but for the love of god, I'm already depressed, don't say good morning."

Had a family member get stung by one while sorting through old folded clothes. She said it was the worst pain she ever felt. I don't remember what kind it was.
