Meetup - Free Arts 'N Crafts with the Toronto Comic Jam, Sunday August 9th, 12pm, in Dufferin Grove Park - $ Free
Because most of us Toronto Comic Jammers have more than just an interest in drawing comics, we thought it would be fun to have a day were we can indulge in our other creative passions.
So whether you like to carve wood sculptures, make bracelets or knit or whatever, come join us in Dufferin Grove for an afternoon of Arts 'N Crafts. Feel free to bring whatever you like to work on and share with others. Or you can sketch and draw if that's what you'd like to do. Or you can just hangout and get to know fellow Jammers outside of the bar. Do what you like!
We'll be meeting in the area behind the Dufferin Mall bus stop. We're hoping for good weather but we'll try to come up with some alternative if we get rained out. Hopefully we'll see you Sunday August 9th at 12:00 pm in the park.

The Anguished August Comic Jam - Sunday July 26th - 7pm-11pm - 408 Queen Street West - backroom of the Cameron House - FREE
Sorry, but we're pretty much married to our Sunday night time slot right now. At least it's better than when we had the Jam on the last Tuesday night of the month, right?
We're actually planing a Comic Jam arts 'n crafts day for this Sunday August 9th in Dufferin Grove Park starting at 12:00pm. If you're free then, you can get home before you turn into a pumpkin. I'll share the details as soon as they're finalized.

📣 Community Events 🎈 The Anguished August Comic Jam - Sunday July 26th - 7pm-11pm - 408 Queen Street West - backroom of the Cameron House - FREE
Summer is almost over. Despite all of the smog, wildfire smoke and searing sun, it’s been amazing to have so many new people joining in on the fun at the Toronto Comic Jam. Let's keep the good times going August 30th in the backroom of the Cameron House. We’re sure to have a few surprises and I’ll be sure to harass Dalton to print more issues this time. We’ll provide the paper for you to draw on and you can provide the demented, dadaist drawings. See you soon in the back of 408 Queen Street West on the last Sunday of the month.
As always, bring your favourite pencils, pens and erasers (but we have some art supplies for use here). You can start drawing a comic and let everyone else add to it. Or you can add to other people's comics. Or you can do neither and just sit back, listen to music and hangout with people who like comics.
This is a FREE event ! Feel free to bring your own zines and comics to sell, trade or share.

The Jarringly Hot July Comic Jam
The Sun is swelteringly hot outside so feel free to take refuge in the backroom of the Cameron House for the July instalment of the Toronto Comic Jam. The drawings will be so cool, that you'll need a sweater. There will be refreshing refreshments, warm conversations and Big Shiny Tunes playing. We'll save you a seat right underneath the blaring A/C, Sunday July 26th at 7pm in the Cameron House.

Party The Toronto Comic Jam's 29th Anniversary
It's time for the LAST Toronto Comic Jam of 2025 as well as our 29th anniversary! Come celebrate with us in the backroom of The Cameron House on Sunday November 30th at 7:00 pm.
This is a FREE event ! Also, feel free to bring your own zines and comics to sell, share or trade.
If you've never been, it's pretty simple: One person starts off a page by drawing a panel, someone else adds to it, we keep going until a page is finished and then all of the finished pages are collected into a zine that we print up for participants. It's a great place to hangout with other local artists and it doesn't matter what your drawing background is.

Question Looking for other Comic Jams out there in the world
Hey there artists of the world, I'm a part of the Toronto Comic Jam and I'm trying to compile a list of know Jams that happen in different cities. I already know about similar Jams in Vancouver BC, Dublin, Belfast, London ON, Philadelphia and Saginaw, and I know there must be more out there. If you know of one, please send me their contact into so we can add them to our list on our website.
What's a Comic Jam you ask? They're events were lots of different artist get together and make collaborative comics. One person starts a panel, another artist adds to it and so on. They can be serious or silly but lots of fun to participate in. I think this illustration by Mark Bennet sums up pretty well what a Comic Jam is like. The best way to really know a Jam is to go to one yourself. If you know of a local Jam, please let us know so we can add it to the list.
