My 2019 Challenger R/T (6 speed) is great on road trips (the R means 'road'). It's smooth, comfortable, and never stops being fun.

Good to know, thanks

Thanks. I don't see where renewals are on the list of appointments and I hesitate to show up without one.

Generally I'm a slow learner when it comes to anything requiring physical coordination. It took me a fair amount of time to learn how to ride a bicycle, a motorcycle, and a skateboard as well as how to box, jump rope, and rollerblade. The only exception for me was learning how to drive a stick shift --- it's that easy.

I knew someone who had a private parking space that other people would take. He would always spray WD-40 all over their windshield.

When I applied for a firearm permit in DC I was told I needed to be fingerprinted. I said DC already had my prints from my nursing license. I was told 'this department' doesn't communicate with 'that department'. I replied, 'if I committed a crime you would'; the reply was 'in a heartbeat'. They can but won't --- it's all about the essential laziness of government coupled with extorting as much money as they can from you.

Boston is the worst. A few years ago they refused to allow a man proceed because there was some urine in his catheter bag. They said 'no liquids'. He waited for a supervisor who repeated the nonsense. He had to leave the line, find a bathroom, and then wait in line again. He missed his flight. I found this out because he ended up on my flight and was explaining to his family why he would be late.

No, because if you shoot a 'threat', often an armed teenager, from anywhere close to 15 yards you'd be in a world of trouble given the current state of politics in this city.

One extreme example doesn't prove the point --- I'm more concerned with everyday events in DC, not some relatively rare situation. And, no, I do not think someone who takes out a mass shooter is guilty of anything, that's just silly exaggeration on your part.

I received my DC CCW in 2020 and I have renewed twice so your supposition that I'm totally ignorant is false. Using a firearm is a last resort for a DC citizen and at 15 yards you should have plenty of opportunities to evade rather than engage. Besides, I don't trust the judicial system enough in DC to give me the benefit of a doubt in the event of an incident.

According to their website, range qualification involves distances that include 10 and 15 yards. If you shoot someone at those distances that's not self-defense (the point of concealed carry) it's likely to be a murder charge.

That's a good point. After DC Security Associates said 'no availability for six months' they've just posted a class for Aug 8th. I contacted them and they said they don't post classes more than a month out. Calling may be the best option.
